Their concert is almost tree hours long, they sang more then 20 songs ( i think it's 26 songs not totally sure). Their stamina is awesome. Sorry any grammar mistakes. Hugs from Portugal

22 if we consider the medley as one song length, 24 if we don't. Out of them 7 solos (for each member) , 1 vocal unit song and 1 rap unit song. Still 13 or more that all of them participate in. And of course the dancing!

S the song at 7:45. It translates to Crow Tit, a type of bird. The meaning behind the song comes from the idiom, “If a Crow-Tit walks like a stork, it will break its legs”. Somebody being called a Crow Tit means calling them somebody who will ruin themselves trying to imitate someone who’s better than them. Older people tend to call the younger generations “baepsae” and BTS are pretty much responding to being called that in the song. It’s a very interesting song that holds a lot more meaning than you would originally think

Their energy and professionalism is insane. You should see the Burn The Stage episode about when they were in Chile and the high altitude/lower oxygen concentration/jet lag combo took it's toll on Jungkook. He was barely walking practically from the first half of the concert. In every break they had he was trying just to breath and stay conscious but he went back on the stage like nothing happened in between. You can watch the fancams from their Chile concert and you won't see a single thing out of place with him. And when the concert finished and he came off the stage he just simply collapsed.

I love your analysis most because you analyze the whole performance. Most “vocal coach reacts” only focus on voice, but tbh I don’t love BTS because their vocals are flawless. I don’t even want them to be “perfect.” I love them for their energy and love for the stage. Like they LOVE it and I feed off that energy. If you can tell me the thought and practice that goes into it behind what I see that’s amazing! But if you’re just telling me what moments they were half a pitch flat and what mix of voice they are in for EVERY video... I feel like you’re such a good teacher too because you often just pick one or two aspects the artist is doing well and teach about that and it’s importance
@DineLade5 жыл бұрын
just wanted to point out that most vocal coaches react to their vocals cause that's their profession and what they can comment on as an expert. but here he is also a stage director iirc, so analyzing the whole stage and performance as well as their vocals is all part of his expertise.

What you said about transitions and how a professionnal should approach them really applies to BTS, there was a concert with a specific song (MIC DROP) which has so many different remix and dance breaks that it can get confusing. Because of a technical mistake, the song ended right were they were supposed to have a dance break, yet BTS were so quick to react and act like it was planned, even though the back up dancers took longer to process what was going on. This kind of mistake rarely happened yet BTS showed how pro they are at dealing with these kind of technical issues.

That show was up to 3 hrs duration, literally sweat, tears & blood, there could be maybe other singers (some better vocalists) but giving this kind of shows is whats makes BTS so awesome and The Best.

Super interesting 👍👍 you should watch burn the stage, you can see exactly what goes on behind the scenes of their concerts. It's grueling, exciting, sad, happy, there's fights, injuries, some of them lose their voice bc of a cold, they suffer physically and mentally but at the same c time they express how much they enjoy performing and exchanging energy with ARMY.

Loved your stress/release analogy and explanation! I've never really thought of that before but you're exactly right. If they just hammered us with something the whole 3 hours of a concert then I feel like everyone would be desensitized and we wouldn't have what many of us consider great epic moments!

fostane Me too! 🤯 For Dr. Marc: the part you paused at 15:42 is actually the most iconic part of Fire, that’s why the audience went absolutely ballistic 🤣 People call it the 333 because in the Fire music video that move is at that time.
