i hope the afl look at this finals series and why its been so successful. the hard hitting contested footy we all love. they should adjust the way they are so protective during the home and away season. there shouldnt be double standards. this should be the standard throughout the whole season .

Don't want to see Daicos get pinged for that but the panel is right - earlier this year Sicily slung McLuggage into the turf with one arm (not both) pinned, despite trying to roll him onto his back. Gets three weeks. Daicos didn't try and turn Daniels like Sicily did, he just drove into his back and his head slams into the turf and he misses the rest of the game with the protocols, which was a significant loss for the Giants. Nothing to answer for and no penalty for Daicos.

Easy Kane to go through all the one percenters and misses from the Giants with a fine tooth comb but there were just as many from the Pies. It was a 1-point game after all. For some balance, you need to show all the errors from the Pies. Brown I'll admit was the biggest one late on, had to go there and at least halve the contest when the Giants had a 3 on 2. That and his two misses were the big game shifters for the Giants, unlucky for him he's still very new to the game, but it's moments like that that cost you big time in finals.

Toby Greene bent his knees. The AFL directive last year was that there was no free kick for high contact if a player bent his knees. Commentators know this because they are more than willing to highlight Ginnivan bending his knees by just a few millimetres whenever he is tackled. There were also plenty of missed free kicks to Collingwood in the last quarter the commentators overlooked while going on and on about two non free kicks to GWS.

American antics, I went to a game at the gabba this year, I will never go again, absolute childish rubbish for 4 year old kids, playing rubbish on the scoreboard & no details about the game; e.g. goalkickers, circus music after a goal.... End of the game Collingwood vs GWS - there used to be a rule where if you jumped on the ball and didn't give it up it was a free kick because that was considered unfair play. I am not sure what the umpires were looking at during the last 2 minutes of that game.

Just looking at your footage there , the pies dragged it back in 7/8 times for no free kicks. . The rules change every week. This weekend there were no rules.
