What’s really interesting to me is the difference between Italians from the North vs the South. North you have more continental European features while South you have the more Mediterranean look. I find the same is true with Spain and Portugal. I am Portuguese from the North and we look a lot different than the men from south of Lisboa. Probably has to do with Galician heritage (Celtic and Visigothic mostly I think).

It's funny, I'm an Italian woman and have the features described in this video, but the feminine version... and with light colouring (natural blonde and blue eyes). I have lived in the UK for an entire decade and was always told I don't look Italian, until I dyed my hair dark, in my second to last year at university. To be fair, those are Mediterranean and Middle Eastern features. Latin countries (including Romania), Greece, Macedonia, Albania and countries from the former Yugoslavia fit this description. Bulgarians, Turks and Iranians too.
