Yes! Uaena knows it too that she did not hit the last note and even in her first song in the concert we noticed she is sick but still we know she can still hit it. This is the only prod she did not hit the note the rest of her prod in the concert she slayed it despite being sick for 4hrs.😉 no worries she is allowed to make a mistake and she’s good in dealing with it. thanks for reacting! i hope you react more IU. 🥰

Totally didn't expect an IU reaction especially with this particular video of an actual concert she had with camera that was most likely filmed from a mobile phone. After finishing the video as someone who been to 2 concert of hers for the past 2 years, I always get excited about the 3 high note sequence because it is a signature part of the song that became "viral" in a sense around 2011. She have been performing this part lately (she stopped at one point to protect her voice) as she wanted to thank her fans even though she does strain for that notes. To add to the part about the imperfection, she have also travelled to different countries for her concert with conditions that may not always be ideal especially on a tight schedule. For her to give her all and to be able to see that live, I didn't regret going and definitely had an enjoyable time in the crowd which is why the performance was amazing to me. She did a fantastic job and her elegance is definitely something I notice too.

Excellent analysis. One thing special about IU is her famous and genuine affection with her Uaena (her fandom name) as you aptly pointed. There are and she truly enjoys interaction with her fans, and vice versa. She is known to do many things to show her care for her fans. Don't know if you are aware that Good Day is the song that launched IU into superstardom 9 years. The 3 high notes at the end of the song was the fad of the moment. However, several years ago IU made a public announcement that she would no longer perform the notes in her performances (probably because of its wear and tear on her). I was actually surprised to see her sing them in the video. It goes to your comment that it's about giving your best to your fans. I believe, even if it's a cardboard cutout of IU on stage, the fans would still go wild because how much this song means in IU's career. Also IU is famous for staying and continuing her singing at the end of her concert until the fans in attendance approve. There are times her concerts went 2 - 3 hours beyond the scheduled time. There are many good reasons IU has gained loyal fans beyond just her look and music.

She always sings good even thought she is sick. She sings no matter what. She always shows that she is doing her job properly and good. She always shows that she is loving her job by the heart. She always sings with emotion. She always feels the song that she sings. That's why I love her and support her from Turkey. Miles didn't prevent me from loving and supporting her. She is different from other artists. And that's why she deserve the world.

That last impossibly high note is the most famous high note in K-pop history, it made her career a decade ago. IU singing 'Good Day' to an audience of fans is like Barbara Streisand belting out 'Rain on My Parade' to a stadium full of fans.

yeah, she did not intend to do that on the recording, but her composer heard her high note (IU is just joking on her high note at that time) and ask her to do that on recording.

She is always classy and elegant. Any woman who can perform in an oversized sweater and jeans is my kinda girl! She looked very timeless in this video. I heard the pitchiness but unlike her and what you pointed out Dr. Marc, I would have cried for days over how horrible I sounded. She took it in stride and nobody cares! One bad thing about maena is they scream soooo loud, basically IU can't hear her voice well so with the accompaniment. Another thing about maena being loud is that, IU have to sing with extra strength than the normal to hear her voice. She's doing it for 4 hours. And this video is already encore, you can imagine how tired she is 😂
