What Makes Marvel Rivals Great?

For one, the game doesn’t try to hide anything from you. It’s fun, actually engaging and the default outfits look pretty good as well, and it’s not like the skins are expensive unless you really want the flashier stuff. But it’s not distracting because the entire Marvel roster is colorful. There’s no secret manipulation in the matchmaking, and more importantly…every character is FREE to use.

Role queue is not needed. The current meta in high comp right now is triple healers, not two-two-two. You don’t need two-two-two synergy all the time to win. It just depends on how good your teammates are. I’d rather have someone who’s really good with Star-Lord, even though we already have two DPS, than for him to play tank and suck. It’s a skill level issue, not a role queue issue.

role queue and balance killed the fun of OW. balance. You optimize the fun out of the game. Turn it into a competitive sweatfest. Same with role queue. Forcing people into roles they do not want to play for the same of balance which is essentially optimizing fun out of a game. OW was at its best in the beginning. When it was chaos.

@@dareelcabbagelord1332 Being Jeff was in Deadpool comics for awhile after Gwenpool left Jeff in Deadpool's care because there was less of a chance of his comics being canceled, and she wanted Jeff to live on. His interactions with Jeff will be interesting.

Role queue is not needed as more characters are being added to the game. This last week there have been no shortage of strategist in parties. Being there is at least an Invisible Woman in every group. With team up, and adding characters in roles that a lacking this game will be fine.

Plus they give you the option the earn the store currency by doing challenges. Which will take forever. But still a good thing

If you are struggling in bronze-gold i would- #1- Go hawkeye or hela and kill everything until you get to plat, there more people know tank/support. #2- If you are losing because no one wants to play tank or support, learn a support, the best is mantis, that way you can heal yourself, your teammates, and you can do a lot of damage and basically kill the enemy team yourself. You’ll see high success over time if you learn from your mistakes and stop blaming your teammates 👍(not that your teammates are amazing, they can be very bad but thinking how others can improve does help you one bit.)

The only thing I dislike about the game is that there is a different currency to just buy the battle pass. A different currency to buy the items inside the battle pass. Then a whole separate currency to buy items from the shop.

@11:24 I am most def one of those “that just wanna get kills” and won’t switch to a tank, but to be fair….if you say “switch to a healer” I can work with you there. Idk what it is, I’ve played games like these since like 2014 and I’ve never been able to play tank. Like me not switching to tank isn’t cuz I’m tryna be an ass or anything, I’m honestly tryna do better for the team cuz I will sell as a tank😭 Plus I’m also big on “early bird gets the worm” and I’m usually first or second to pick my character so if you pick last you just gotta pick what the team need🤷🏾‍♂️

@ they are the lowest pick rate for a reason. Even if you get good with them they still don’t balance out like other hero’s.

@8:54 the crazy thing is I tend to hop off rivals and hop on league of legends🤣. That’s not to say league is better btw, it’s cuz they’re both super team oriented games, and in both games if one or two of your teammates either can’t play their role and/or is feeding it don’t matter how good the rest of you do….you will lose, and with that being said, people tend to know what they’re doing a bit more league, so the outcome of the game usually just comes down to who’s just better….vs rivals I’ll have 2 tanks playing further back than our DPS’s, I got 46 kills and we still lose (that entire scenario actually happened to me btw, none of what I just said is hyperbole or exaggerated)
