What makes Mercer Island a wealthy neighborhood in Seattle?

This had me howling with laughter. I lived on mercer island for 35 years. The “commute” from the south end to i90 is about 5 minutes.

Please do not ever forget Mercer Island is an enclave developed by the jewish community who chose this due to classic racism outside. A Mercer family member is responsible for the creation of locks between Lake Washington to the westside. Finally, Mercer Island is fantastic.

I think because it is an island. If you have parameters around your boarder then it is easier to keep people out. Greed is a problem in America. You should share what percentage people are putting down on homes.

Just some unsolicited advice because it's clear you aren't a native english speaker: first of all, you say live "on" Mercer Island, not live "in" Mercer Island. I'm guessing you are getting "in" because that is what you would say for a neighborhood, i.e. someone lives "in" Ballard. But since Mercer Island is, well, an island, people say live "on" Mercer Island. Also when your slide says, "...so many like wealthy families..." you shouldn't put in the "like." Although this is how people speak, and even text, you don't want to use that for a professional video. There should be no "like"s unless you are literally comparing two things to each other. Finally, I think your smiling and nodding is a bit over the top. You seem really nice and friendly, but it's a bit off putting to constantly smile and nod like that. Great job on the video overall though, and props for taking action as an agent and using KZbin to get yourself out there! I'm sure you will continue to have great success!
