For one it doesn't keep up with the stealth coat. No radar. All it would have to do is show up on the battlefield and it would have an effect. And that's without firing anything. It couldn't do this a lot. So you can just pick your battles. So a little bit of an effect. lol.

The only thing stopping them from building something like a fighter jet even earlier was material. Until we learn to make better metal we couldn't build planes with metal.

How come no US airman never defect to China with their jet like what defectors from Communist countries did? During Korean war there were many defections from the north.
