What Makes the Mevo Start So Successful?

I'm assuming all my Mevo Plus Cams won't work if I get "micro usb C" to hdmi adapter cables, with or without the new software. Before buying these cables can you confirm if Mevo Plus will work or has Mevo Start walked away from my old friends?

I’d say it’s more common for people to use the Mevo camera and app to send to GC.

Jason - Does the Mevo multicam app allow url? For onboarding a scoreboard. Could this be used instead of a yolobox pro because I hate cords? I just love the lower thirds of the switcher studio and the YBP…the Mevo system seems to provide more bang for my buck.

Jason, can you use this as a wireless webcam for a Google Meet on a Chromebook / Chromebox? Or Google Meet on other devices with Android?

While i dont have any experience on a Chromebook, every device I’ve tried it on works as intended when in webcam mode.

Can I use the original mevo app with my mevo start. Also can you help me figure out why I get a echo when I have all three mics on or even 1 mic on I get a echo

Yes. And if you have the monitoring feature on it will echo. This is a little audio icon in the sound control area. Just tap on it to disable it.

It will reflect the room setup. I mean if the room is acoustically soft the mic will work well. If it is harsh, it will echo.

Hi Jason, I have been watching your videos about he Mevo because I have been thinking about how I can build a streaming setup for when I am golfing. A Mevo mounted on my push cart with my Wireless Go Mic plugged into it, streaming to Twitch via a hotspot on my phone that I will use as a monitor and for the chat. What's your experience with streaming the Mevo or a phone hot spot? Any good?

My experience streaming via phone’s hotspot is less than streaming via a MiFi hotspot. But it always depends on the strength and availability of your local cell tower. Most often, the issue I’ll have is a large group of people (baseball game) in a rural area all hitting the same tower so it becomes congested. This will kill upload speed. Streaming golf, you will likely not have the same limitation. You should definitely start with your suggested setup but know if the phone doesn’t keep upload speeds you need a MiFi hotspot might.

@@JasonHoffmanYT Yeah, I am LA based - so our courses have good 5G or 4G throughout. Will definitely be considering at least one of these for future upgrades.
