I absolutely agree "A team is not made with emotions". I have been a die hard fan Of RCB since 2014 and never missed a single match of their's. Coming back to the auction of RCB, I think this was one of their best seasons in the auction table. They filled their gaps mindfully and have purchased good players lik Salt, Livingstone, our OG Bhuvi, Hazlewood, K. Pandya, Bethell ... So with these players they can build a proper match winning squad. The only negative is that they don't have enough left handed batsmen (they went all out for Venky Iyer for nearly 23.5 crore😮 and Nitish Rana for around 4 crore because they wanted a LHB to fit in their top order but they got DDP instead which is not bad ) and spin might be some problem. But as in nature says ,nothing can be perfect similarly here for teams no squad in fully perfect. But I have no issues with this squad. 8/10❤ Yes I agree they did not pick the likes of KL Rahul our local boy, Maxi, Siraj, Jacks and so on... There are reasons why they did not pick these guys and I want to explain these reasons below; 1. Not picking Rahul- KL is a very good player no doubt but only in test format or in ODI's. He is a talented batsmen and very effective in tests. But his past year IPL as everyone knows wasn't great and this was also justified in his price tag this year. He is not the same destructive KL Rahul anymore as he was in 2017-2018 T20I's . He is definitely a captaincy material. 2. Not using RTM for Siraj, Maxwell, Will Jacks. - Siraj is a very good bowler and aggresive as well. He gives his full energy in every bowl he bowls and even Virat Kohli praises him. But again he has had a hot and cold season for RCB in his last 6 years playing for RCB. If in one season he takes 15 wickets and bowls with a economy of 8.5, the next two seasons he is off radar bowling with economy of 10 or 11 and taking less wickets. He also did not perform well last year. Will Jacks is a very explosive player and can bat well ,but again it comes down to records. Apart from his one performance against GT in Ahmedabad where he a scored a blistering 100 he did not perform in any other matches for RCB. He only scored 230 runs in 8 matches despite RCB believing in him so much( he was retained by RCB for two seasons) . He entered the IPL 2024 playing some fine knocks in other T20 leagues like BPL,PSL but still couldn't find the rhythm. His T20I record for England is also not great . He did not score a single half century in all his appearances for England in T20I's . Jack's last 5 innings in T20I included 25, 32, 38,17 & 12 averaging just 18. Next our Big show Maxwell- Hard hitter of the ball, exceptional fielder and can bowl you overs as well. No doubt he is an asset to any team. But his recent stats are not great. We all know the previous year IPL was horrible for Maxi scoring only 52 runs in 8 games with an average of just 6. He was not looking the same Maxwell as he does and even took a break from IPL matches in between , but did not work for him. In an all important match for RCB last year, the Elimination against RR he scored a golden duck despite RCB showing so much faith in him. His Australian stats(T20I) recently has also not helped him( A duck was included against PAK). All these players are definitely good and they perform well. It is just that they are having a lean patch currently and did not fit into RCB squad. I wish all the very best to RCB and to other teams well. 🎉🎉 Ee sala cup namde. ❤❤❤❤❤

But I have reason for everything. See if you would not play Krunal Pandya at no 4, there would be right hand batters till no 6 which would be risky, some would also suggest playing Jacob bethel at no 4 who is leftie, but for that you have to remove a foreigner, you couldn’t remove Phil salt,josh hazlewood, Liam Livingston, Romario Shepherd (hard hitter), so there will be no place for Jacob bethel. Some would also suggest playing Tim David instead of Romario shepherd but you couldn’t make him play too down the order like at no 7. But originally Romario used to play down the order as as power hitter.

Honest i am quite satisfied with the buys RCB made. Yes it's tough to digest that our star players such as Faf, Maxwell, Siraj etc are not part of us anymore. But the thing is who're replacing them. And we've got Salt, Livingstone and Bhuvi replacing them. So great job there and most importantly i loved the pick of Jacob Bethell. He is the next big thing. Just a few miscalculations of mistaked that we made in the auction pool are, 1. Getting Tim David instead of W. Jacks. This is huge blunder we made. 2. Getting Lungi Ngidi as backup pacer where we could've got quality pacers like N. Burger or N. Ul Haque. 3. And lastly, not buying back our young domestic talents, Lomror and Vyshak back. Yes, Akashdeep was expensive so great job there, but we should've got Vyshak and Lomror back.

Its a balanced squad Atleast this time 11 or 12 players can easily fit into the team In the last two years, we had weakness in middle order where we had to play Anuj Rawat, Lomror & Prabhudesai & they failed in majority of the games. Last time we didn't had good spinners. But this time the middle order looks really good with Livingstone, Jitesh, David, Shepherd Good spinners as well with Krunal, Suyash & Swapnil We RCB fans should back our team & keep hopes high for the upcoming season 🤞

Coming back to the auction of RCB, I think this was one of their best seasons in the auction table. They filled their gaps mindfully and have purchased good players lik Salt, Livingstone, our OG Bhuvi, Hazlewood, K. Pandya, Bethell... So with these players they can build a proper match winning squad. The only negative as said by Joy sir is that they don't have enough left handed batsmen (they went all out for Venky lyer for nearly 23.5 crore Nitish Rana for around 4 crore because they and wanted a LHB to fit in their top order but they got DDP instead which is not bad) and spin might be some problem. But as in nature says, nothing can be perfect similarly here for teams no squad in fully perfect. But I have no issues with this squad. 8/10 Yes I agree they did not pick the likes of KL Rahul our local boy, Maxi, Siraj, Jacks and so on... There are reasons why they did not pick these guys and I want to explain these reasons below; 1. Not picking Rahul- KL is a very good player no doubt but only in test format or in ODI's. He is a talented batsmen and very effective in tests. But his past year IPL as everyone knows wasn't great and this was also justified in his price tag this year. He is not the same destructive KL Rahul anymore as he was in 2017-2018 T201's. He is definitely a captaincy material. 2. Not using RTM for Siraj, Maxwell, Will Jacks. - Siraj is a very good bowler and aggresive as well. He gives his full energy in every bowl he bowls and even Virat Kohli praises him. But again he has had a hot and cold season for RCB in his last 6 years playing for RCB. If in one season he takes 15 wickets and bowls with a economy of 8.5, the next two seasons he is off radar bowling with economy of 10 or 11 and taking less wickets. He also did not perform well last year. Will Jacks is a very explosive player and can bat well, but again it comes down to records. Apart from his one performance against GT in Ahmedabad where he a scored a blistering 100 he did not perform in any other matches for RCB. He only scored 230 runs in 8 matches despite RCB believing in him so much( he was retained by RCB for two seasons). He entered the IPL 2024 playing some fine knocks in other T20 leagues like BPL, PSL but still couldn't find the rhythm. His T201 record for England is also not great. He did not score a single half century in all his appearances for England in T201's. Jack's last 5 innings in T201 included 25, 32, 38,17 & 12 averaging just 18. Next our Big show Maxwell- Hard hitter of the ball, exceptional fielder and can bowl you overs as well. No doubt he is an asset to any team. But his recent stats are not great. We all know the previous year IPL was horrible for Maxi scoring only 52 runs in 8 games with an average of just 6. He was not looking the same Maxwell as he does and even took a break from IPL matches in between, but did not work for him. In an all important match for RCB last year, the Elimination against RR he scored a golden duck despite RCB showing so much faith in him. His Australian stats(T201) recently has also not helped him(A duck was included against PAK). All these players are definitely good and they perform well. It is just that they are having a lean patch currently and did not fit into RCB squad. I wish all the very best to RCB and to other teams well. Ee sala cuo namde. ❤♡❤♡❤♡❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Rcb management pls stay with Andy flower and give him rope for next 3 years. He will give you a tropy. But RCB needs to add in one exceptional spinner to complete this decent rounded squad. Bhuvi as a death bowler i am not very sure. His form will be key and his injury worries too. Overall should be able to get to atleast qualifiers.
