Excellent channel and content, keep it up! Would you think about doing a video on the Shema? With levav, nephesh and me'od?

David Ben Gurion vehemently opposed to the use of et before hey haydiah. He thought it was unnecessary and omitted it. David Ben Gurion was polyglot who commanded ancient Greek, Turkish, Polish, English, and Hebrew; however, nobody listened to him and in Israel the preposition is utilized nevertheless, but it's OK to omit it according to the Academy of the Hebrew Language. For your information.

Thank you for that information! I do remember reading something about that. :)

David Ben-Gurion refused to use "et". He said it was an entirely unnecessary and superfluous word. However, people also said that his Hebrew sounded very odd because of his constant omission of it. p.s. excellent video! 👍

Can "et" be used in reference to a name as well. As in "hi ro'ah et Moshe"?
@LearnTheLingo_Hebrew3 ай бұрын
Yes, names are definite! In the video I used the example אנחנו רואים את שרה (we see et-Sarah).

🔴Isaiah 41:4 “Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and with the last; I am he.” Proverbs 20:22 “Say not thou, I will recompense evil; but wait on the LORD, and he shall save thee.” God clearly said to hate evil, not return it! ⚫️ Proverbs 8:13 “The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.” Romans 12:17 “Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.” 1 Thessalonians 5:15 “See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.” Romans 3:8 “And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.” Zechariah 8:17 “And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the LORD.” Leviticus 19:17 “Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.” 1 John 3:15 “Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.” Romans 12:19 “Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.” ( the ultimate subversion) It’s been nearly 1700 years since Augustine wrote the lies that fool most today, saying there can be “ just war and killing ”. Christ told us we are to love our enemies.. Luke 6:33 “And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.” Luke 6:32 “For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them.” 1 Corinthians 10:24 “Let no man seek his own, but every man another's wealth.” Jeremiah 38:4 “Therefore the princes said unto the king, We beseech thee, let this man be put to death: for thus he weakeneth the hands of the men of war that remain in this city, and the hands of all the people, in speaking such words unto them: for this man seeketh not the welfare of this people, but the hurt.” Christs message , which is His Fathers words ,is very clear if you “ study like a workman, meditate in his words day and night….. 1 Peter :2:21 “For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously: Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. Psalms 119:163 “I hate and abhor lying: but thy law do I love.” Even Jesus only spoke Gods words: John 3:34 “For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.” John 14:10 “Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.” Hebrews 1:3 “Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;” “MADE”. Galatians 4:4 “But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,” Luke 16:16 “The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.” James 3:1 “My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.” Philippians 3:19 “Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)” Hosea 12:10 “I have also spoken by the prophets, and I have multiplied visions, and used similitudes, by the ministry of the prophets.” Hebrews 12:16 “Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.” 🟡Every man should heed Gods warning, not to “ profane his “ birthright” Matthew 10:16 “Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.” Hebrews 7:26 “For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;” Philippians 2:15 “That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;” 1 Corinthians 14:20 “Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men.” John 13:34 “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.” Luke 3:14 “And the soldiers likewise demanded of him, saying, And what shall we do? And he said unto them, Do violence to no man, neither accuse any falsely; and be content with your wages.” Isaiah 53:9 “And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.” Hosea 12:10 “I have also spoken by the prophets, and I have multiplied visions, and used similitudes, by the ministry of the prophets.” 1 John 2:6 “He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. James 1:22 “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” Jesus is Gods Son. Made from mankind, ( female) Son of man …God gave this man all of his Holy Spirit, so Jesus was one with him, John 10:30 I and my Father are one.” Matthew 1:23 “Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.” John 3:34 “For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.” John 3:34 “For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.” Acts 10:38 “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” Colossians 1:19 “For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;” John 10:29 “My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.” John 14:28 “Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.” Hebrews 1:3 “Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;” Ruth 4:6 “And the kinsman said, I cannot redeem it for myself, lest I mar mine own inheritance: redeem thou my right to thyself; for I cannot redeem it.”

Go ahead and show us where that is in Tenak, the Messiah is supposed to fear God, not be God, you’re an idol worshiper sorry. Don’t confuse people trying to learn the holy tongue.
