I really hate that "You need to communicate" suggestion. I've played with randoms for years and nobody has ever had to coach me on "common sense." Especially on defense, I do NOT switch on screens because if I switch off my man, he's 100% going to score on that possession, never fails. I fight through every screen to stay on my man fr and then the mf ends up with the least amount of points on the opposing team 😂

2k needs to have a individual rating system, not just a team rating system. If the team win it should be a bonus, but if as a center get 15 plus rebounds, 5 blocks and at least 5 steals, and my pg,sg gives up 50 points. Why should that effect my game play as a center and versa versus. The system doesn't reward good play, it only rewards for points scored

Thats why i try my best to get at least an A- or better grade every game so if i lose it goes down a tiny bit. Or sometimes even up if i lose because of these goofballs.. On my big I get my boards , locks up the big, and get assists set screens.. i dont even care about my points i just keep my eye on my grade and i notice i goes down because if your teammates messing up on defense.. "defensive breakdown" but you are glue to your man.. but your teammates are asleep at the wheel...getting to, and keeping a gold and Purple status is ridiculously hard playing solo..

Bro rec match making is all jacked up. Like i didn't know there was this much stupid in the world let alone a game. Im a rec random warrior id say 60 percent of my games. Ive always been able to keep my win percentage in 60 to 70 percent range. But MOST importantly was able to have fun and as i progress find some hoopers and develop some running mates. This year its like im getting on just to get angry or just doing some sort or work. 2k finally achieved it i guess. Completely took every aspect of enjoyment out of the game. 101 to 97 is pretty much all star weekend defense. I think the solo rec and squad rec lobby thing this yr is just a bust. Shit worked fine last year, i dont understand the need for the two lobbies. Going in with 2 or even 3 guys is terrible in the squads anyway. 4 with a bot is actually doable now that bots will hit 50%. I just wish i could tell the bot to spot up corner. Just needs to try and match 5 stacks with 5 stacks and thats pretty much it tho imo.

Had this happen to me yesterday. It felt like a jinx from an old teammate, Started out the day playing with some gold players while I'm at silver and I had this center who played very well alongside. Playing defense, grabbing boards, hitting shots and letting me get my assists. We played 2 games and he messaged me saying he hopes I get more teammates that are good. Next two games, I have 25 combined assists and only miss 2 shots while holding my men to less than 20 points combined but have a SF that gives up 40 and a PF who gives up 39 and we lose both games to teams filled with AI's.

i feel like matchmaking should go based off teammates grade first, then colors. I average an A- teammate grade in the rec. A+ to B+ B to C+ C and below stay grouped together. then you sort out the MVP’s and Golds of group 2 away from the silver or below of group 1. same for group 2 & 3. There is absolutely no reason for me to match up with any player below a B. I also feel like 2k should have a separate rec door for players overall. 60 - 74 75 - 84 85 - 92 92 + If I want to make a new build and try it out without investing too much.. i should have the option to keep him at a 65-70 overall and march up against lower players

My build just says inside out score so people don’t really know what he is. He’s 6 foot eight. He’s played one through five and rec hard enough to believe it. Yes it’s happened. I played sinner. It blew my mind but usually run as power forward or small forward, but I’m very defensive With a lot of finishing badges and what comes with having an 80 three-point rating and a 75 with a 73 free-throw so mainly if someone doesn’t pass me the ball I just set screens and pics whether it pisses them off or not and that’s how I get my points and I have workhorse turned way up so I can be the one to grab the ball I average a few rebounds and when I play with people I do better because they hit me in the right spots and actually see me cutting realize I have 24 badges 20 defensive playmaking and 19 shooting
