4:40 - you casted EX skill (without falling feather) which produced 6 orbs but the 6 orbs previously there auto targeted the enemy hence why there is an X mark on it. 5:36 - you casted EX skill, which should have 6 orbs with no X mark. Instead, you EX skill > 6 orbs were made > Shock happened > the 6 orbs from the EX skill auto-targeted the enemy leaving an X mark -> then the 6 orbs from Shock are on the field :) Basically, I think when you create 6 orbs but there are already orbs on the field, the game will autoX mark if it can. So the trick i think is to not overstack X marks since an enemy at max holds 8 stacks (assuming harumasa's additional ability is active), not orbs. Since the game tries to auto-X mark if it can :) so i think harumasa's kit will try its best to prevent overstacking as much as possible.

Thank you for this video! Your focus on actually showing the individual animations associated with each input and each part of his combo was really helpful. I'm a mobile player and when CCs just gloss over inputs as though they should be second nature I feel really left behind. The in-depth section at the beginning really helped me turn my theoretical understanding of his kit into an actual practical understanding! My main criticism is that I think you glossed past his mindscapes really fast in comparison, because his M1 and M4 are actually zero damage increase mindscapes that only affect his combos/QOL. M2 also affects his playstyle because you need to distribute the dmg bonus stacks properly during the stun window. I mean, they're still bad and nobody should pull for them (I say after I already pulled for them), but they do change his combo.

He works really well with Miyabi, too. Most channels are gushing over Yanagi + Miyabi but something not talked about is that the Frost Anomaly boosts crit damage received. Since Miyabi's unable to keep doing her self-anomaly loop without Frostbite being cleared through Disorder or her M1, it actually opens up this window where you can swap over to Harumasa and go crazy for a few loops before rotating back. Dude it's then benefiting from his Passive AND the Frostbite Anomaly effect's bonus crit damage.

based on my recent tests, you can actually place E then initiate a Chain ending with Asaba then spam, its like going to be, 6 from E then 6 from Chain then usually ends in shock which can lead to another 6 hence atleast 3 DAs

I’ve been playing him with double stun. I just started the game so I don’t have xingie idk how to spell her name. I do have Lycoan and lighter which I’ve been using and it’s really really fun. I’m not using anby cause I’m not the biggest fan of her playstyle, a little boring and clunky for me. Lighter boosts Lycoan ice damage and both produce stun which then boosts Harumasa damage. Plus I have 3 hot dudes

best teammate is Caesar/Nicole because he can do aoe with charged attack but is small, so having someone to get enemies close for receiving all dmg is perfect, as for single enemies he destroys them alone.

I know it's completely optional but I feel like that holding EX to mark is very confusing in an actual combat scenario when enemies are in your face and tons of things are happening at the same time. I feel like holding the basic for the aim (Falling Feather) is still easier for me personally because I get a visual indicator that I'm actually marking the enemies because the camera angle changes vs. having just another attack go off. Either way, I'm having a ton of fun with him, I just kind of wish they had some kind of audio queue whenever there's 6 orbs out - as it is, I'm constantly having to turn my camera to look around looking for them, whether they're there or not, because the orbs don't always appear around the enemy (it can be behind or in front, and if you're dashing/running around, the orbs could be across the room). I also kind of wish they made it so that even if there are orbs out (from his basic attack) that if you EX or cause anomaly, the 6 orbs just override them.

Even regular stun gives 150% dmg multiplier base (some enemies it’s 200% base). This plus the extra 40 percent is more dmg than just 40 percent against shocked. But anomaly characters can shock faster than stun characters typically can stun.

rina is great with him but you still want a stunner, haru, rina & robot girl stunner is a great team for him (anby works for stunner but not as well as robot girl). overall you still want a stunner cause it can do over double your damage easier along with rina buffs.

187% crit damage, 60% crit chance and 3050 attack with 32% pen ratio (69% with rina buff) and my harumasa feels sorta mid tbh I never really played attackers before him though because I only had s11 with horrible crit damage. Compared to Miyabi he feels like a 4 star honestly. but I love him, he''s fun. I'm wondering if I replace Anby with m2 Grace with my rina + haru comp though, does he really need stun that badly? If I had qingyi he would be god. So far he wants them to be shocked more than stunned considering i use thunder metal and anamoly is easier to trigger than stun. I have m6 anby with 200 impact but idk, I'm going to slowly build my m1 grace since I found her signature losing my first 75/25 on his weapon. Also am I tripping or does he feel like ass without his m1?

Harumasa gameplay is way way better than Anton Huge gameplay difference But I have no motivation to build Harumasa I manage to build Miyabi within 1 day But i need to build Lighter I decided to get him before Miyabi I planned to skip Lighter at 1st but im glad i did not because not only i got Lighter but i got Miyabi and her Signature Im all good for now I dont feel any need to Harumasa for now Maybe i'll build him in the future maybe I am interested in his gameplay just no motivation to build him right now
