I took 3 months grinding Damascus because of this… I only grinded cuz I was bored, had nothing to do or some time to kill… to me it was worth it although I don’t even like the camo, I still use it as a reminder of the pain lol

@@carljohnson5542 you dont understand dude... na45's hardest camo to unlock is the splinter(long shots). After unlocking all other camo's and im left with splinter and got finished a game, I realized I only got +1 on splinter kills. Turns out all long shot kills wont count if its the explosives or vehicle explosion. The only kills that count is if its a one shot headshot so it doesnt explode, or if the health is low you can one shot in the body.

Damascus isnt a beautiful camo nor does it look special, people grind it to basically say "Im a real camo grinder".Anybody with a job can buy mythics and p2w skins, but getting damascus is one of the toughest thing to achieve in CoDM.Theres no buying option, no shortcuts. If you want Damascus, you gotta grind EVERY single existing gun to gold. That takes dedication and consistency to achieve

I play codm since its release end of 2019, I don’t remember when I began but at some point I accidentally unlock gold… one thing brings another, I kept a loadout with one weapon I hadn’t got in gold yet. All AR, then Smg, then snipers, markman, pistols… until 2022 when I unlock all Damascus yeah🎉 Long ride, challenging, sometimes frustrating but never boring. I finally unlock Damascus in 2022 😅🎉 fun fact: when you finished gold camo for a weapon, even if you don’t like it at the beginning, you finally like it a little 🤣 syndrom of Stockholm 😅

Finally someone who has the same opinion as me, I think that players who say that damascus isn't worth it, are the players who didn't even think about grinding for it, it really isn't about the look when you start grinding it, but once you get that final sweet unlocking animation that keeps going for 20 seconds you'll realise that your efforts were worth it and that's when you see the beauty of Damascus, you can't see it before the grind but after it, you can equip it on any gun you like and be proud of it

Grinding for Damascus makes you somewhat good at every weapon in the game that’s not unbelievably gimmicky. You can play with basically any gun instead of having to stick to meta or a main.

Started grind in March or April 23, don't remember. A lot of hours, heart attacks, loss of hair, missed shots from d13 sector, no longshot kills from shorty, no double kills from smrs.... And in October I've unlocked damascus ❤ As a damascus owner, I say that Damascus is very beautiful. It would be better if it was exactly the same damascus from mw19, but codm damascus is beautiful, in own way

What most people don't understand is that you can apply these camos (gold, plat, damascus) to epic, legendary and mythic guns and they look sick as hell. If the skin is old there's a chance you can apply rare/common skins to them too but that's besides the point

As someone that unlocked all the camo, the same season they were released… it was easy, not hard at all. You want something challenging go get top 500 (not 5000) in ranked with no p2w skins. If that’s to hard cause I’m sure it will be for most people. Go grind master rank on all weapons in ranked matches. If ur rly good shouldn’t take to long but at least it’s still possible just much longer of a grind if u have skill issues. GL all! Happy grinding.

I stopped grinding gold camos for other gun groups after getting the platinum camos for the ARs. But now I want to get the damascus camo because I love the challenge. Am halfway through the SMGs and paired them with launchers so that I can farm for 2 groups at a time. Presently farming for QXR & D 13 sector. Wish me lucky guys.

People using the tournament camos cant say anything as theres only 2 or 3 which are ok and none as good as damascus. I think you are wrong this time man. The reason the majority of good players don't go for Damascus camo is because it is too time consuming it's never about skill issues when you can reach 15K points in MP in 20..22 days and 10K in BR. And you still because MVP in 3/10 matches against OP and OG players... And the majority of good players don't need to have Damascus camo to prove their skills. And 99% Damascus camo players are not too good when it comes to play in the top 5000 lobbies and I saw this personal. They just want to FLEX
