What my oncologist said

This is Brian from MovingforwardBrian. An update on my oncology appointment last Friday. My opinions and observations.

Brian, good work. Being your own medical and health advocate is the only way to make this work. I agree with not taking anything any doctor says as The Word. My wife and I, and others around me, have been in not as serious a situation as you, but have taken the reins to better health. You are right re the "chemo dr" vs the "cancer dr". The industry is fraught with greed and it unfortunately, but unsurprisingly, trickles to the patient. Most dr's are caught in this conundrum, but most don't realize it or have the courage to break out of it and do something that will make a lasting difference. Keep being your own advocate, digging, and BEING Brian, the answers will be uncovered. Standing with you Brother.
