Pile no.1, such a great reading. I have just had a week where I felt my mental health was taking a U-turn after such a positive period. I am doing very well in my volunteering role and am being promoted but the thing that has been left to the side is my daily journalling and writing group. Yesterday morning, I took myself to a coffee shop with my journal and started to write, really asking myself what is going on in my mind, why am I feeling so low. I’m strongly drawn to pile no.1 and I also notice in the preparation that this pile is behaving differently from the following piles. I had hard time with emotions and someone who constantly competed with when there wasn’t even reasonable. It was just their imbalance and insecurity. That ‘again’ was also true. I saw this the 1st card and thought of my senior dog Lara who from some time now lost a bit if her sparkle , due to arthritis and just being old. I’ve been getting messages about how being too much of the mind represses my emotions and then I end up feeling numb and wondering why I’m not making progress towards the life I want. I haven’t honored or freed my emotions. I was punished for having intense emotions and that started the story that what I’m feeling is wrong and I can’t trust it. I became focused on accomplishments and comparing myself to others, and developed a victim/ inferiority complex. I saw people as competition.
