We have good players but either our coach doesn't pick them (or our government doesn't let him pick them) or we loose them to clubs that pay better which at this point is any where in the world :(

diulikadikaday Lol ya thats about it. One huge difference is when the AB's make a break there is always a few in support to pass to, when the springboks make a break theyre usually on their own looking for support. SA rugby is not looking good at all lately.

Saracens in England have had a South African phenomenon at hooker for a number of years in Schalk Brits who, at 36, seems to get better with age and still plays second fiddle to Du Plessis! This guy is an all-rounder for crying out loud. The complete footballer and has been for years! Don't take my word for it. Read The Rugby Paper and find out the majority of the player's 'Dream Team'.

Francis Hunt you don't know what you're talking about. From a prop he is awesome! Just because refs make wrong calls and general public believe it don't make it right! He isn't hyper extending... he is too low for the worse prop so the opposition folds the correct call is a Springbok/Lion penalty every time

SA best rugby team ever. They are tied on three WCs with NZ but won two of theirs on the road and NZ had two extra WCs to win theirs. NZ over the years do a lot of self promotion about being the number one team in the world then choke at the following WCs. SA quietly went about their business shows up and win. Even NZ had a winge about food poisoning after 1995 WC final. Begrudgeers! Oh but we are no 1 then choked to France in 1999, we are the best and choked to Fance AGAIN in 2003. Choked again 2007 Won a debatable one by a point at home in 2011 and finally backed it up in 2015. Choked again in 2019. Now the likes of Ireland are beating them on a regular basis. What will the excuses be now? They have dropped back into the pack and the pack is average enough now with England wales Australia and Ireland and none of those will be winning any WCs soon. Get a grip and stop all the self aggrandisement, it has worn thin and oh ya while you are at it get rid of the stupid Haka as it looks ridiculous than grown men are carrying on like that. sam jones it's not rigged idiot. To be so consistent like the ABs is like superhuman so I'm pretty sure you can't keep on winning the whole time. And it's been riven this year. SA just gave ABs a scare cause previous results were far worse for the Boks. Don't give crap about rigged and paid cause in rugby it's about the sport not money.
