Salam to you all, thank you for sharing your vlogs; I really enjoy watching them. I love the area, the tranquility, and the food. It's great that pharmacies and private general practitioners are readily available at every corner, and they're affordable for basic illnesses. Private specialists are also accessible and reasonably priced. I was able to get my blood tests done on the same day at a laboratory for 200dh ($22) for four tests; in Europe, this could take up to six months. I realize not everything is perfect, but Morocco is advancing beyond some European countries, and I hope more people will strive to improve and become more civilized.

A few Darija tips: 1. 'Aji' means 'come here' or 'come to me'. If you want to say 'let's go' or 'come on' you say: 'yallah'. 2. If you refer to food and want to say that it it is/tastes good you don't say 'mezyen' but you say: 'bnin'. For instance: this tajine is/tastes good = hed tajine bnin. Or: hed couscous bnin, hed breakfast bnin, hed msemmen bnin. So if you taste something and it tastes good, say: 'bnin'. ❤

It is true and unfortunate that the majority of Moroccans do not sort their household waste, the volume of which is 7.4 million tonnes/year. They have an incomprehensible resistance to this subject although this waste is 80% organic but that in no way excuses this bad habit. Add to this the rare government programs and campaigns to raise public awareness on this subject. In short, Morocco only recycles less than 10% of this volume by a few recycling plants located in public landfills and private companies like Elephanta vert from Meknes among others. Finally, Morocco aims to recycle between 20 and 30% of household waste and recover up to 65% of the 39 million tonnes of all waste by 2030. Well, let's hope so!

Lovely video. You have a beautifull daughter. She is so full of joy. Allaahuma baarik. ♡ I want to warn you about the danger of petting stray cats in Morocco. If they are sick and accidently scratch you, it can get really bad. I love cats myself, and where I was born and raised (the Netherlands) there are no stray cats, so you can easily pet all cats you see outside. In Morocco, unfortunatly, this is a different case. Although me and my kids love cats, ever since we moved to Morocco I always warn them to be carefull and always wash their hands and never pick a cat up to avoid them getting angry and scratch you. We were always warned by the doctors in the Netherlands to immediately come to the doctors office if you have been to morocco and have been scratched by a cat. Maybe you are already aware, but just in case I wanted to give you a friendly warning. Take care and enjoy the beauty of Morocco ♡

About the cats don't touch the cats on the streets you can give them food or some, but no touching because they are dirty and you can get sick after touching your eyes or mouth it's a serious advice and especially for kids, welcome again to Morocco
