They say when the student is Ready; the teacher will appear, you"re exactly what I needed and the amount of care and thoughtful means a lot to a novice, again, you"re the best; feeling you in Motown!!!

OMG, this makes the world of learning so more interesting. This will help me not to see straight pencil handstand as the one and only one ultimate goal. Now need to practice on falling safely as well... Thanks!

Good. Im on the heave side (230 lb), but Ive been training arm strength for months now. Id rather train a press entry than one of the jumping-based entries. (1) removes a variable, (2) less strain on the legs due to frequent entry fails, (3) more transferrable strength. i think the jumping is simply harder for those of us who are heavier.

Maybe I don’t or can’t jump. Your assuming that I can get to that first balance position, I can’t. I’m trying to get from the back of the mat to the front with a jump. I look more like a low flying frog

Should beginners start their practice against the wall and then, when they master to handstand, they should start without wall.

Good tutorial, but it assumes that one can already do the handstand. So IMHO this should be chapter 2 or three of a series. If one is learning how to do handstand this is a too hig level for a beginner.

This is not for beginners - most do not have strength, Way too advanced for the regular person just introducing themselves to Handstands
