I hate when they call 2nd place and 1st place starts screaming and all when they already know they won, so now it drowns out 2nd place - at dance we didn't really d that, all we did was look at each other and smile until they called us up, most of the time we wouldn't even know we won, cheer is a lot different but I love it

+bubblegum effect yeah, it's pretty rude. The second place team worked just as hard and when you're screaming and ogling over yourselves, other teams are staring you up and down like "hot heads" 😂. It's also not worth not even placing yet being so big headed you THOUGHT you won. But... you actually didn't place. Hmmm? Guess who that upsets now 😂

I hate when you're doing your routine and a stunt falls, but doesn't try to get back up. They just stand there and argue about who's fault it was. And I hate when we're at practice and a cheerleader stars crying because she's tired. And when she stunts, she lets the flyer fall. Like no, you are apart of a team and you need to push through it no matter how tired you are.

I HATE IT when people are watching other teams compete that is in your division and they discourage that team, like if they fall you go "YES" OR they go "Fall, fall, fall". Plus, you don't know who is around you, it could be a supporter of that team. ALSO, it makes your gym look really bad.

it drives me nuts when an entire team is getting ready in the bathroom closest to the entrance of the auditorium (or whatever youre in). if you have to fix your makeup, go ahead we all have to touch up sometimes. but when im trying to wash my hands but your curling iron, makeup bag, and 6 of your teammates are in front of one sink because you didnt get ready at all when you were at home, it kinda annoys me not gonna lie.

Mine is either the jump up when second is still being announced or when people leave during awards cause their division has already been called like no the other people clapped for you, you clap for them ok? And when it's like a level 5 team competing and then level 2 and everyone sits there clapping for the level 5 dance and yelling "hit hit hit pull" and stuff and then next routine they don't do that for the level 2 like how hard is it to show the same support and energy for the level 2 and the level 5 teams like you're sitting there you can clap ok! Like everyone gets angry about "only level 5 is acknowledged, people only care if you're level 5" well who are the ones only caring for level 5 it's YOU! Like if everyone showed the same respect for all levels then there wouldn't be this whole "only level 5 is acknowledged" thing!!!

I know it might be annoying but it's completely "ok" I guess. But really, my high school's freshman team for cheer has like two - three girls on the team that cheer for allstar, and allstar is more important than high school cheer. Well they are both important in many ways bc you have to be there for their team, but like wouldn't it be rude to leave practice early to go to another practice? Don't think it's annoying it's just that every girl that does multi tasking for different cheer teams are strong & incredible! They do twice the work! Appreciate any cheer leader that cheers for two or more teams! (:

This happened to us once she said her foot hurt and her head hurt but I just so happened to turn where she was and she was running and doing cartwheels. I felt like I was about to pass out and our coach made us run for 1 minute stop and give something to do and then run again no breaks I didn't stop conditioning I pushed through it. She always does though.

My #1 cheer per peeve is when people cheer JUST to cheer. Not because they love it not because they find it fun not because it inspires them JUST TO DO IT. It drives me insane when I hear another cheerleader say " Ugh I wanna leave already" or " I don't wanna do this anymore"😒

I'm just seeing this now, but yesterday at competition you couldn't even hear the announcer congratulate the second place team because the team who knew they got first stood up and screamed and was clapping... that is such a shitty thing to do and I'm SO glad you addressed it.

i saw one time at jamz nationals they called the second place team in a dance division and there were two teams left the Carson Colts and Angel city but since the Carson Colts won last year they got up and started walking to the stage like they won then they announced first place ANGEL CITY!
