Doing an island tour on a moped without helmets, CRAZY!! Our hospital is not the best! 🙄 And they allowed you to go through the land slippage area, WOW!! 😄 Always best to bring a guide or a local with you on an island tour. Grenada is a very safe island. You met a group a people who made you feel uncomfortable but that could happen anywhere in the world.

So our neighbors actually rented them & he said the lication didn't have a name so to speak, but it was closer to being a 'junk yard' (sorry this sounds ridiculous 😐) but they had cars and scooters that they were renting out. Sorry I couldn't be more help, but maybe if you ask the staff they can help! Seems like the bartenders where much more open about giving you insight about locations than the front desk (fyi). I live here in Grenada. I'm sorry you guys had the experience you did. Quite Frankly I'm very surprised. I would like to know exactly where this took place because this is strange behavior. Having said that, you guys are crazy going around the island on scooters when its your first time here and you don't know the roads. lol. But I love it.

Lol... ya, we were obviously very surprised as well and had heard great things about Grenada. We typically wouldn't go out on mopeds in a country that we have never been, but we were invited last minute by our neighbors at our resort, so we took them up on their offer... otherwise we probably would have just grabbed a taxi. It was in the NE corner of Grenada, between Bathway Beach & the Pearls Airport. I just remembered we could no longer see the ocean from the road and the road was crazy zigzag (more so than rest of our drive). Ww were miding our own business and started passing a group of guys (pretty large guys at that) and they got up off their porch and started yelling at us... 'get back here you white mother $#&%@#$' And I know this can happen ANYWHERE, especially in the US, so ya, we should have approached the whole moped thing a little differently 😬 But non the less, we had a good time in Grenada, and it was definitely an adventure that we won't forget lol. It was around the Mt Rose area... we were just driving on the road, minding ourbown business and started passing a group of guys (pretty large guys at that) and they got up off their porch and started yelling at us... 'get back here you white motherf&#*÷=s .... so just a little intimidating 😳

@@AdventureEncounters also carnival and calypso is a Grenadian thing and we brought it into Trinidad. And let it be known, it was Grenadian who built Trinidad. Uriah Buttler was a Grenadian who went there and built country with other Grenada who fought in the world war. Before us were Taino Arawak Creoles and Haitians and others indigenous people who fled slavery with their masters after the French and British wars. Trinidad and Tobago were called Creoles and then the negroes arrived from Grenada to make it a country. Now the demographic has changed and all nations reside there. But don't let anyone tell you it was ever colonized with Africa slaves. This two islands had never been a slave colony. We shall rewrite history.

@@aishafrance2068 no honey? Go look up Trinidad in the 1800 you won't find a thing only indigenous people. And Indians from India cutting sugar cane. Trinidad was the land of runaway slaves and their Master. Any African presence in Trinidad are Grenadians, and those who migrated recently, and the blacks are from, St Vincent, Haiti, St Lucia and other islands including Barbados and the indigenous people who were there. I know Caribbean history and trust me when I say, Trinidad was never a slave colony but a country where slaves fled with their masters. Trinidad does not have a history of their own. Grenada is the mother land of Trinidad. We built this nation. Have you ever seen the native or indigenous people working? Caucasian said they were not fit for forced labour. Why do you think they were there I'm Barbados yet they brought Africans to work? Think about it.

Lol... 🤣 just being honest about what truly happened, and letting others know to go with a guide... way easier and they know the best places on the island 🤔... oh and riding mopeds the entire island was a bad idea. As I said in the video, EVERYWHERE on earth (even in the USA), there are areas that are not the best place to venture out to, especially if you have never been 🤷‍♀️. It actually threw us for a loop, because we too were under the impression that Grenada was a pretty safe Island. A large group of people (men & woman), got up off their porch and started running after us, yelling 'get back here you white mother fu@#$&s' .... In my opinion, I would think ANYONE would be thrown off by that 🤷‍♀️ Idk, just our opinion. We enjoyed Grenada for the most part and are actually friends with multiple locals there...
