Hi Becca, do you have a video that helps to understand how important for a toddler's development is to stablish a bedtime routine?

Is there any sleep method that can be combined with Co sleeping?

Hi Becca! currently trying to figure out a sleep plan for my 6 month old. Do you have any videos of how to initiate and succeed the little zs sleep training method? We tried the ferber method and the pick up/put down method. But its difficult to put him down in the crib without waking up.

Wow this story about not on the same page applies to my mother and me ( grandmother and mom). I’ll never get her to understand

Hey Ashley! Yes, I totally get that. I'm here for ya!!! Sleep IS real!!!

It's not about understanding, it's about respecting. And sadly, bc they're our mothers, they have trouble (sometimes alot,) respecting our wishes as this child's mom. Sometimes, a helpful thing to do is say to your mom, "Mom, how would you have felt if your mom didn't respect your decisions or choices and went behind your back and did otherwise?" Many times, you may find out your grandmother did just that! And your mom hated it... Just like you do! LoL. And your mom will (hopefully,) be horrified that she is doing it to you too!

@@josephcurry590 thanks for the tip. I feel like I will have this struggle with my overbearing MIL. You’re right - it is about not respecting.

The audacity of that father to call in a professional sleep trainer without mom’s consent 😭 that would just be so uncomfortable for you and the mom!

Hi becca. How about teething? My baby was waking up once and go back to sleep easily. Now every time she wakes up she cries a lot and only wants to be held. She has been wake for 2 hrs in the middle of the night.

Hi Rosario! So actually I don't use teething as an excuse for poor sleep. We have a video coming on that soon!

Ok Becca, now PLEASE tell me how people raise 8 kids without sleep training!! I've heard of others saying that and I just can't possibly figure out how they do it. sleep training my first was mandatory for us .. as heartbreaking as it was at times...so I just wish (out of curiosity more) I knew the step by step ways of those with so many children, who don't...
@littlezsleep4 жыл бұрын
They may have angel babies who didn't require sleep training! Not every child needs to be sleep trained- they start either foundational habits from the start or they are just good sleepers.
@Ptly4 жыл бұрын
Yeah, i Guess so... There really are angel sleep babies out there. We don't have those lucky genes :))
@Ptly4 жыл бұрын
And then there's moms who cosleep with multiple children and nurse thought the night for many years. I just can't picture the logistics of that. It must be that I am so different with my needs from that , that I don't see how that's possible

What do you do when your husband is NOT on board with sleep training? He doesn't let our almost 2 year old go down for naps unless it's sleeping on either of us. She sleeps through the night, but has started fighting bedtime about 10 days ago. He doesn't let her cry more than 10 min before going in to rock her to sleep. I feel it's literally impossible for me to sleep train her right now (he's home officing for this whole year), and resentment is building up. It's going to be so much harder when she's 2 1/2!
@josephcurry5903 жыл бұрын
Divorce him. Otherwise, let him deal with the nightmare that is your child every single night. Bet after a while it gets old and he gets on board. Tell him to pick up a spine while he's at it.
