The protagonist Kyiotaka is always trying to stay in the shadows and avoid ahimself and his masterplans, but since we are watching his pov most of the time, he is open like a book to the viewer. However Koenji, has so little screen time and we know nothing about him. So in my eyes he completes this mysterious guy persona way better than the MC.
