All peoples migrated to north America..native American hate groups need to be punished..just as other hate groups are...So blaming other races for your problems...is bull crap !# ...and let us not forget who started slavery, wars and stealing of lands..centuries before white people came to north America..if you going to tell a story..tell it truthfully..the Only race is the human race..period !!..If you think different then that.. you are not embrassing your culture..you are being racist..own that !!..Stop Hate !!!

Example of native American hate...learn your history. History of the Black Hills and who stole it from other people before the white man did..... The Arikara arrived by AD 1500, followed by the Cheyenne, Crow, Kiowa and Pawnee. The Lakota (also known as Sioux) arrived from Minnesota in the 18th century and drove out the other tribes, who moved west. They claimed the land, which they called Ȟe Sápa (Black Mountains).

@@Hi-nv8rn I have a great respect for the native people of Alaska because they have a way of life that they can live that is not wholly dependable on white folk. For a hundred thousand years the native people of Alaska lived by their traditional ways and means and lived good and survived well without interference from the white colonisers. Please know that you are recognised and revered as true hunter gatherers to this day by many peoples around the world. Your traditions are still relevant today and the way the world is on a collision course for disaster your traditional way of life will become more relevant as time goes by. A pure pristine, healthy life style that many would love to know and live.

Cubans are forbidden to own their own boats. Solutions to improve lives of Alaska natives: 1- shut down the welfare state. 2- those who still speak indigenous languages should continue teaching them. Start teaching children the language while they're young. 3- Allow natives to buy land and a way to make mo ey off the land is either lease to logging, oil and mining companies or even be outfitters/guides to hunters, fishermen and backpackers

Malcolm Soh Inuit are from and live in Canada. Alaskan Natives are Yupik, Inupiaq, Aleut, et cetera. Calling us Inuit isn't anymore correct than calling us Eskimos. Many of us don't mind the Eskimo label. I identify as Yupik, or a Yupik Eskimo, never as Inuit. "Eskimo" is easily understood by many to mean "Alaskan Native."
@malcolmsoh56487 жыл бұрын
but isnt the name 'Eskimo' --'eater of raw flesh' considered as derogatory? Whereas a more suitable name Inuit should be used for referencing natives who live in Canada and to some extend Alaskan Natives.
@TheAndeye7 жыл бұрын
Malcolm Soh I do eat raw meat, so I don't consider it derogatory, I understand why some think it would be. It may have come from another Native American tribe that meant "wears snow-shoes.", I've never worn those. I'm not Inuit, I don't like the idea of being appropriating their name for who my people, the Yupit, are. If we must be lumped together by outsiders it might as well be under the name they lumped us under. Peter Evans points out, in this video, it a misconception that "we're all Eskimos," in that same context it would be another misconception to label us all Inuit.

You probably missed the part about there being several different genes in Alaska. That happened long long time ago by several different migrations into Alaska over tens of thousands of years. Because unlike the self righteous pure blood people who mutated themselves through extreme inbreeding into pasty white people, we had laws against breeding within our family and village. And encouraged mixed blood. Trust me white people science is slowly catching up with ancient people science and is finally supporting our ancient knowledge that pure blood is bad. White people are slow to accept that fact do to keeping it in the family for countless generations, and because their main power in the world coming from raising their children to be racist, but they'll have to admit that incest is wrong someday... Maybe.

It's funny how they call us latino but we really represent the color red on Nican tlaca not Brown. But where really Mongoliod indigenous from the edge of Alaska all the way down to south America. This whole land was called Cemanahuac. And we migrated from Asia. We have similar bloodlines to Samoa Hawaii tonga and Asia. We surround this whole globe and are against each other, what needs to happen is that all bloodlines of the medicine wheel need to unite to gain higher consciousness and develop mentally,physically and spiritually. Mongoliod negriod(nubian), and caucasiods. Basically all the gangs of today are replicas of the tribes of yesterday that need to open there eyes and exit the matrix. Alot of people forget about the crusades and all the unnecessary bloodshed and separating. Nun Ya lol my boy, I heard this a lot. And I don’t know where you got this from. All Indians from Alaska all the way down to Latin America are the same people. All contain 9 repeated allele genes. We did in fact came from Asia but we are not the same race as Asians or Mongolians. Just cause y’all look like them does not mean you are them. Some Alaskan and Canadian natives may in fact have Asian blood in them because Asia is soo close to them and could have mix but that is just a small amount of the population on natives in Alaska and Canada. Literally you should look at pictures of Indians in the Latin America like the tarahumara, mayans and the Yaqui. They look very similar to Alaskan and Canadian Indians. Stop the ingnorance :)

Wonder how much of what has been lost from the ancient traditions was the dignity that came from hard work. Making dog harnesses from seal skin, etc. It's easy to understand, though, why it was easy to move from those life and death existences to something that promised an easier life. From old footage of "village parties" beating the drum and dancing, the old ways don't look more mystical than any other block party. Just a place for people to finally get some human interaction. As much as people think "white civilization" means Christianity, in large part it just means adopting the social customs collectively agreed upon as okay in a place where a lot of people call themselves Christian. If these people could actually be introduced to the God-man who left heaven to walk on this treacherous planet, enduring the elements so He could say "I've been where you are, I hear your pain, I love you, I'll die to redeem you from your mess" maybe there wouldn't be so much pain in these indigenous communities. Yes, they need Jesus. We all do! He didn't stay dead, either. He's available to any who believe. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

You may believe you have good intentions but you sound condescending and think like missionaries did. It helped justify the reason our native and indigenous people’s land was stolen, to benefit colonizer’s business interests. The harms of Christianity spread out still today, often condemning native peoples for their cultural beliefs. I forgive you for you may not know better but please allow us to hear the voice of our Alaska Native tribes and Nations without your outside opinion of them. Native peoples do not suffer and have not endured because of a lack of belief in a Christian god, it is because their land was stolen and colonizer’s injustices all across the world especially during the 1800’s. They drink because of generational trauma and other conditions caused directly by the harms colonizers brought and committed against native and indigenous Alaskans. I was so fortunate to become close to an Aleutian friend in elementary school when I lived in Anchorage as a young girl. I miss her to this day and see her face and hear her voice and remember how she spoke to me and how respectful of her family and others and her knowing right from wrong. I cannot remember her name but I appreciate her for all she taught me, and for being such a kind friend. From Hawaiian kanaka maoli to Alaska natives I send much aloha and may we onipa’a, stay steadfast and immovable. Blessings to our native sisters and brothers, how nice to hear your voices and listen to your stories. IMUA!!! Go forward toward a brighter future with unmistakable strength and courage! 💓💓💓💯🤙🏽

All humans are native. All humans are indigenous to the earth. We all came from the same ancestors essentially. It’s great to celebrate the cultures we steam from but essentially human beings together as one is what our next evolution is. She said colonization is why there’s drugs alcohol and suicide.. funny I see that in the white black and brown communities.. greed and war are the problems. And either it be a brown Mayan king, a white French king, a black Ethiopian king, or a yellow Cambodian king.. Greed will lead to all the same sins every empire suffers from. Changes the system but respect all people.. not long ago in human history is was white Europeans that were being enslaved by Rome and the other ancient empires

So I guess the "African American" "Native American" "Native Alaskans" or pretty much any people affected by colonization is just putting blame? You should really read some books. Only way to fix it is by not letting the government "develop" anything else. they are trying to stop the government. All they want is their way of life (hunting and tribal rituals). they don't need hand outs, just freedom to hunt and THEIR LAND BACK!'

This is a great video to learn more about Alaska natives... for example... everything they say they specifically "aren't"... those all give you a pretty good idea of what most of them "are". Like... statistically... most Alaska native ARE Eskimo. That's not a slur, in fact, it's the term 90% of them use for themselves. Also, alcoholism IS the number one issue among Alaska natives. And they have the highest percentage of government assistance of any ethnic group in the entire United States. SO this is a great video... just take the opposite of everything they say.
