1:37 the problem is optimization. Most people subconsciously notice and internalize the problem that java has with optimization, and bedrock with bugs, and because people start to realize that minecraft is suffering from the very same things that AAA slop suffers from, even if only subconsciously, they will lash out, and blabber about unrelated, emotional stuff (my theory)

The same problem is with Bedrock edition in terms of optimization if you compare Android and iOS Smartphones, the game runs bad and has alot of issues related to optimization if you compare a flagship or a midrange phone the experience is the same. The only updates which improved PE were the customizable HUD, but isn't Fully customizable if you want to play the game with 4 fingers, it's sort of restrictive. The inventory is the worst when you are trying to bulk craft. On PC we can shift left click to quickly craft but it's not possible here. My main problems are optimization, UI Overhaul QOL Changes, Bug Fixes. If they focus on that the game will be much better. I myself play both versions, but they need to make these changes as mobile market is in majority of entirety of Minecraft.

@Sahil_Deshmukh yes exactly! But luckily mojang or Microsoft or whoever is responsible for bedrock edition nowdays will fix many bugs. They are planning on releasing hardcore mode, which means they will have to work on the bugs. But at the same time, sadly java had switched from a snapshots+yearly update schedule to a snapshot+bimonthly (might be incorrect, I don't fully remember) update schedule, which means if anyone had worked on optimizations up until now, they will not have time to do it, because instead of obe big update, we'll get small bursts, which is honestly terrible for those who want to work on the backend. This is what saddens me the most. But still, all hope is not lost, mojang/Microsoft can still fix this, and hopefully they will in a couple years.

i dont play minecraft bedrock on mobile it started with the test demo on my moms laptop and then ps3, ps4, ps5 (kind of),own pc (with so many TOTALLY STUPID ways i had to go to get it it took us so soooo long to even buy, we had to buy a frickin gift card to get it!!!!😡😡😡)

As a builder and technical player, Minecraft keeps getting exponentially better with every new update. We always get new beautiful (if niche) building blocks and all the datapack additions they've made in the last year are genuinely mind blowing.

I don't say that new snapshost are bad, but I won't probbably be playing newer versions than 1.21.4 and that I will be playing only beacouse of the bundles (I don't like how bubbles just shrink when you're underwater). I just like how the game felt when I started playing it.

I think what changed is people's mindset. At some point we transitioned from just goofing around in the world to speedrunning progression and automating everything. Sure you had stuff like that being theorized always but it was just something cool to mess around with, like I remember looking up how to make a piston door just because I thought it would be cool to have a piston door. Now it's like, everyone rushes to so all the exploitative starts that optimize everything and then complain that the game is boring or villager farms or broken or whatever, when they brought it upon themselves. Not sure when the shift began, I want to say it was when we got end cities, just because those give you a reason to pursue the end as quickly as possible, whereas before then the fight was more so symbolic than anything, but it definitely didn't happen immediately I think it just slowly started to condition people to progress quickly.

I think part of the reason people say modern Minecraft isnt as simple is because the older players dont even attempt to use the newer blocks in their builds as they would rather use the blocks they are comfortable using in their builds. As a kid it doesn't matter if you use a tutorial to build a house, but as an adult you may be a lot more self conscious about copying someone else's build instead of making your own.

True Minecraft u still can go back to the old updates without issues after hearing that idk why people complain like its now a option unlike other games where u cant go back to old updates

The main reason I don't like newer versions of Minecraft is because of the bloat, and world generation. First off the new caves and cliffs are cool, sure. But it makes navigating and exploring the world a huge pain. Climbing up mountains is an actual waste of time, and I don't like the new caves I feel they're too big, and I think they're ugly and make building annoying. I feel like the world is too big and I have almost no motivation because I feel like I have to build big things when I want to build smaller scale stuff. Next, the bloat. I feels like the new items just don't have enough uses. For example copper, amethyst, armadillo scutes, and glow Inc sacs. While these items can craft pretty cool items, they could have easily been used by already existing items. (Glowstone for glow inc, gold for copper, turtle scutes for Amarillo ones.) Everything just feels so disconnected. But don't get me wrong, newer versions of Minecraft are much better when it comes to performance.

"Climbing up mountains is an actual waste of time" 1. For the question of 'how', that's where problem-solving skills and sandbox elements come in. Get a water bucket and swim up it; tame a horse with decent jumping stats to scale it; brew some Potions of Leaping to jump up it; use the Nether to skip past it; dig a tunnel through it (could even put a railway or an ice boat in it); throw some Ender Pearls; grind for a Riptide Trident; use Wind Charges; or even get some Elytra to fly over it (that's why it's an end-game reward; it allows you to skip the hassle of travel). It's a sandbox game; there are so many different ways to tackle a single problem! 2. For the 'is it worth it', that's entirely based on the player's goals. Are they trying to find what's at the top? Are they trying to get past it? Do they want to build something at the top? Do they just want to find a nice view? Or do they just enjoy exploring, and get satisfaction from conquering it, even if there's no extrinsic reward? You can't please everyone. "I don't like the new caves; I feel they're too big, and I think they're ugly and make building annoying." Most of the point here is subjective, meaning I can't really argue with your opinion; I personally love the look of the caves, the size of them makes them fun to explore, and they allow me to build cave dwellings or basements without having to hollow out a huge space beforehand. Plus, unexplored dark nooks and crannies can take up the mob cap, allowing for less hostile spawns on the surface (bad if you want to build a mob farm, but good if you like going outside at night). "I feel the world is too big" While this _can_ be a valid concern, that's not a "New Minecraft" problem; that's been the case since worlds became infinite back in Infdev. "I have almost no motivation because I feel like I have to build big things when I want to build smaller-scale stuff." ...then build smaller-scale stuff?? Nobody's _forcing_ you to build big, so what's the problem? If it's because everything in the world is spread out, meaning you're incentivized to build infrastructure to get to/from it... well, what's the _point_ of having an infinite world if everything important is close together anyways? If it's because you see others building huge and impressive things and feel inadequate... while I can't argue with how you feel (I sometimes get jealous because my building skills are average), how is this the _game's_ fault? That's like reading some bad fanfiction and thinking the media it's based on is worse because of it. "I feel like the new items don't have enough uses. For example, copper, amethyst, armadillo scutes, and glow ink sacs." 1. Part of that is because they're still relatively new, so they haven't had as much time to be given uses as the old stuff. Like, Copper and Amethyst have already been given more uses since their addition, like armor trims and the Calibrated Skulk Sensor. Give it time, and more uses are sure to come. 2. There's still old things that have hardly any use. Lapis, for example, is used for enchanting (which, while useful, can be skipped by finding enchanted books and using an Anvil), making blue dye (which you can now use Cornflowers for a renewable source), armor trims, and a single building block that's pretty hard to implement into builds because of its texture. Or the Nether Wart Block / Warped Wart Block! Sure, they can be used in building or composting, but that's about it; you can't even turn the Nether Wart Block back into Nether Warts. 3. Some uses that _you_ might find insignificant could be more meaningful to _others._ Take Copper for instance: it can make a spyglass (good for non-modded/Bedrock players who want to zoom), a lightning rod (for controlling where lightning hits, useful if you want charged creepers, brown mooshrooms, or just to protect your builds), a brush (I personally enjoy the archaeology, but I know others find it unrewarding), armor trims, the Copper Bulb (while the removal of the single-tick delay was tragic, it's still a compact t-flip-flop, perfect for Redstone-focused players), and _SEVENTY-SIX_ blocks (including oxidized/waxed variants, ores, bulbs, etc.) for builders to expand their palettes with. That's a really wide breadth of uses, albeit not _too_ deep mechanically. Now, compare that to Diamond: there's the armor trims (and duplicating them), armor/tools (which can then be converted to Netherite), the Enchanting Table (which, again, can be skipped using an Anvil and books), the jukebox, adding a sparkle effect to fireworks, powering a beacon, selling to certain villagers, and only 3 building blocks (including ores). Some fairly deep, but not a wide number - and once you have your perfect set of armor/tools, those uses dwindle quickly. (And no, Diamond Horse Armor doesn't count because you can't craft it). "Gold instead of Copper" Copper not only expands the color palette for building, but it adds the extra mechanic of oxidizing over time, which expands the block palette even more while giving a good visual sense of how old a world is. While pure gold is a good conductor, it doesn't tarnish (gold jewelry can, but only because it has other metals mixed in). "Turtle scutes instead of Armadillo scutes" Do you _really_ want people to spend even _more_ time farming turtle scutes just to give their dogs armor? It already takes WAY too long to get a Turtle Helmet. And that turtle-made armor would likely look worse because the scutes and the Turtle Helmet are green, meaning the default dog armor would most likely have to be green as well (which would clash with some of the dogs/collars, and would probably affect dyeing as well). Meanwhile, the tan of the armadillo-made armor is a much better neutral tone, both for matching the dog variants and for being dyed.

A ton of the relatively use-lacking features like quartz still had some extremely important stuff when it first released over a decade ago. Now it took amethyst like two years to get a niche redstone component, and it took five entire updates for copper to get bulbs. That's pretty bad. To be fair nether wart blocks are insanely useful now since they're arguably the best compost source "Take Copper for instance:" Spyglass crafting recipe doesn't even make sense. It might as well be made of gold and glass. Also it's not even that useful of an item. Lightning rods are straight up pretty useless as not only are they never relevant but rain always extinguishes the flame. Funnily enough armor stands can be used to conduct lightning "Copper not only expands the color palette for building" Decoration is not a use. "Do you really want people to spend even more time farming turtle scutes just to give their dogs armor? It already takes WAY too long to get a Turtle Helmet." Why not add the brushing mechanic to baby turtles then??? "(which would clash with some of the dogs/collars, and would probably affect dyeing as well). " Why not just make the paint region the entire texture rather than just stripes?

My opinion about modern Minecraft is trash is just ridiculous ok i don't care about u say but i get it people have a lot of nostalgia but is time to move on and stop complain about Minecraft is "eAzY", "bOrING" and whatever you say Just stop is sooo ridiculous so you telling u don't like some Good changing and u still say "i miss nostalgia 😭" i just don't cara about the update or version i just use mod FOR FUN

As someone whos been on the other side of the argument before, Minecraft has lost some parts of its identity and to my opinion is still losing it. But then its also slowly gaining it again. However I overtime came to understand that although minecraft is no longer what it once was, it has also drastically improved in ways that I always hoped it would. And now we getting an ambience update? Like hello? I was asking for this like 8 years ago? Late sure but who cares?? ITS HERE! But joking aside, its not just about Ambience of course. Back in the day, I played Minecraft very strangely. Very Goal Oriented when Minecraft never was a game that was Goal oriented. And this type of play makes you kinda get stuck in your ways. Cause "whats the point of building X Y or Z? I just need to do A B and C anyhow" is much easier to think of than "Ima just take it slow, build a nice looking base and the end? Yea Ill get to it eventually". For many killing the Enderdragon is the highlight. Lo and behold, those worlds tend to only live for 2 weeks. And why? Cause they are riddled with autofarms, badly made bases, nothing to keep the player invested cause all they can think of is progress. And mind you, thinking of progress isnt the problem. Its the Tunnel Vision that comes with it. And when you are already dissatisfied with one aspect, its far easier to get mad at another over finding something good in the next thing to come. I think that right now, although this current Update in development feels lackluster, is on a good path towards a more unique game again. Its been a long time coming and the fact that the dude who created the Aether is in the team now is definitely showing in how creative the more recent big additions have been. I will however just take my time. Play in my world and just build my base. That Enderdragon is still waiting. And Im ok with that. I think ultimately it comes down to one line of thought: I dont like change / I have to play differently. Especially the combat update which is hated by still a lot of people despite it being so old has people still playing in pre-combat update versions to this day. They miss out on everything new and they dont care. Their favorite thing was changed. And they dont want that. They are... Stuck in their ways.

I really just dislike villagers, mending(I think it could be fixed), the repair system, enchantment RNG, and how the End often needs to be wiped for balance on multiplayer servers.

you know what's amazing about being able to play older versions? that you can always play the one that you like the most. in my opinion, there's nothing like better minecraft or worse minecraft. every version is different and every single one of them is it's own unique experience. it's never about which is "objectively better", it's about which do you find the most fun. ;)

Some fundamental mechanics have changed over the years that you can't ignore. Hunger was added. A cool down to attacks was added, and combat was rebalanced. Monsters and how they relate to sleeping has been drastically changed. You can't ignore phantoms, for example. Conditions for mobs spawning has been changed repeatedly over the years. I've spent hundreds to thousands of hours in beta 1.7.10. I've also spent hundreds of hours with 1.20.1. I disagree that modern is an improvement in every way. Modern has tons of structures and early progression favors exploration drastically over grinding. Beta has a nice isolationist survival feel and everything you have comes from grinding. They play drastically different.

Honestly, Sipover's video is the only video I 100% disagree with, alot of people who make videos about old minecraft don't even hate modern one, they just say why they like playing older ones (for example Dialko) because honestly it is true that old minecraft is great, I actually prefer vanilla old over vanilla new, although I play alot of modded mc on 1.21+ And no, it's NOT nostalgia that people like older versions. I play beta 1.7 sometimes even though I started playing minecraft ever since 1.8.8 Also the optimalization, while yes sometimes they do improve it, is still not ideal and relying on 3rd party mods just to make a game playable is genuinely not convenient. Of course I do play with sodium on almost every version after 1.16 but still, it shouldn't be a requirement

One problem with the play older versions argument is those older versions never develop not without mods which some people aren't a fan of and so they are left behind. I don't have much of a problem with modern Minecraft other than I wish they focused on more intense but fun stuff like the Nether and ocean update the newer ones are cool looking but feel very bland

i never understand it when any of the two sides of this topic bring up the combat system, specifically the change from 1.8 to 1.9 i feel like the only people complaining about it are the people who weren't into PVP to begin with, and can't win a 1 on 1 with a zombie, close to every single 1.8 player now plays BOTH versions, from intel to sweatgod to fruitberries, anyone u could name, actual people who care about the combat side of the game, don't really have this "omg combat system bad" conversation, and there is a reason for that; - both combat systems can and always could coexist together, in-fact actual pvp and combat oriented servers have offered both combat versions for a long time, like minemen club, as a matter of fact, minemen club has recently made it possible to play the 1.8 style of combat in the newer versions of the game, it is impressive tech, and has been news for the last week and it's weird, cuz many changes have actually happened in the combat system throughout the years, but nobody seems to complain about those: the change in the shield functionality in 1.12 or 1.13 or whatever the crossbow changing the axe pvp gamemode netherite armor knockback changes in 1.18 and 1.19 i believe making the shield block explosions in 1.19 or 1.20 which changed the cart and crystal pvp gamemodes making blast protection reduce the knockback of explosions in 1.19 or 1.20 changing crystal pvp heavily the mace.... changed almost everything, and SO HEAVILY changed crystal pvp there is so much that actually is worth mentioning, yet nobody really complains about that, nevertheless, the 1.9 change is always brought up, the quote unquote "new" (post 1.9) combat has been perfected through-out the years, i do not even understand what many are even complaining about -- it seems like they're not complaining about how the "new" combat sucks (which it doesn't in the slightest), it seems like they're complaining that it simply changed lol

I think it's because was a new combat that people weren't used to, so they hated it. But the new combat is literally better, you don't need to spam it anymore. Everybody say that combat updated sucked but I see NO ONE explain why I think combat update was necessary, it changed the modding community for the betterr (Epic Fight is so good)

I don't get at all why people are so attached to spamming click. Maybe because I'm really slow so the way I attacked was naturally around the pace the cooldown wants me to but idk still I haven't seen anyone say what's so skillful about old combat, I don't think being good at clicking quickly is skillful.

@@spyro2002 you really do not know how much u don't know.... the thing is, i really want to explain to u, but i would have to ramble for many paragraphs, so i wish you could bear with me lol so im gonna start with an analogy that might not make sense at first, but again, just try bearing with me; just like how there are quote unquote "gaming mice" that are actually complete trash, yet they are the main stream mice that you see everywhere, like some Razer mice, logitech mice, Glorious mice, etc etc, they have literally become a meme in the gaming mice community, because you are NOT actually paying for a good product, you are just paying for the BRAND, these mice cost 150 DOLLARS, when they are actually super garbage, but since they have holes (which is at all times a negative trait) and RGB lights, they are popular, it's just marketing what can i say... ---- and then you got other brands that actually provide amazing, good competitive mice, like: vaxee, zowie, pulsar, lamzu, end game gear, scyrox, ninjutso (the sora edition specifically), and when you look at those mice, they do not have any holes or RGB, yet they are LEVELSSSSS beyond what logitech or Glorious could ever give you that to say sometimes what the media portrays, even about something as silly as minecraft PVP, can be really deceiving, and even more, the community knows about it, but can't really do much, if it doesn't get the attention it deserves, it doesn't get the attention it deserves, it is what it is and unfortunately this effect is EVEN STRONGER when it comes to the older combat system, but let's start with the newer minecraft combat since you're already familiar with it: - when new players see a minecraft pvp youtube do a 360 turn, like a spin, between every sword hit, they think that's top-tier, they think this player might be one of the best, when actual TOP-TIER PLAYERS in the sword/tank/boxing gamemode use strategies that are so skill-based, like hit-selecting, jump-reseting, walk-throughs, p-critting, etc, etc, some of these strategies are SO PRECISE in fact, that they need to be performed down to the TICK (down to the 0.05 millisecond), and that's just sword pvp (literally just a sword and armor lol), so we're not even scratching the surface - other gamemodes get more complex, the best example of this is CRYSTAL PVP, the strategies are so complex and precise in fact, that it's the least known pvp major gamemode, because it's just that hard for new players to get into it, not to say top players didn't get good at it, oh trust me, they really did.... if you are interested search up "*ItzRealMe*" or "*Marlow*" on KZbin, those are one of the top players, they would blow your mind, as long as you understand what they're doing, cuz if u dont they would just look like they're doing random stuff lol - and speedrunning, oh lord do NOT get me started on speedrunning, speedrunning is a different conversation, it's such a field on and by itself that if i were to talk about it, i'd probably add 10 more paragraphs, so i won't and that's just the modern version, again, the older version has a stronger effect when it comes to this media vs reality stuff: - same as the modern version, you might see somebody on youtube who just clicks 20 clicks per second, holds W and looks at their opponent, while playing bedwars, and u might think "i guess that's the top player? what boring combat is that..." but it's not even close....... - let's take bedfight for as an example, it is so heavily competitive, some skills these players acquire genuinely blows my mind ---- just search up "*minecraft block placement nyqo*" or "*minecraft block placement versqa*", they're both amazing players although they have different gamestyles, just watch how ROBOTIC-LY PRECISE their block placement is.... and the movement is so strategically thought of, that it provokes the opponent so perfectly into whatever gives that player the advantage, it is genuinely amazing to watch - i know minecraft 1.8 content has been polluted with content that revolves around getting a shitty mouse, with faulty broken mechanical switches that clicks 3 times per single click, and god forbid "drag clicks", but fruitberries (yes that's the player's username) throws that out the window, he used to play 1.8 back in the day, now he plays the modern version, but his playstyle back then was so unique, because among players who just click fast, he used to normal click, just clicking his mouse like a normal human being, yet he was arguably one of if not the best player at the time..... this was 5 or 6 YEARS ago, and he is still the go-to example for this type of stuff, just search up "*fruitberries 1.8 uhc traps*", i'll tell you, you will get ADDICTED to his old content - and for bedwars, this will be quick, there are indeed top players..... i haven't mentioned in the modern minecraft pvp section, but each version has a community that RANKS players, there is a whole ranking system, the modern minecraft uses a weird ranking system based on low tiers and high tiers and numbers, for example LT5 is the lowest, comes HT5 right after, and the highest is HT1 (thankfully they're changing it to an ELO based rating system soon), and same with 1.8, there is a ranked bedwars community that's all about this, it's amazing ------ if you take anything off of this bedwars section, take this: search up "*Dewier*", he is the current best ranked bedwars player - the bridging community as well, it's just so amazing, some people are beasts at bridging, sometimes you question if it's even a human that's playing the game, i would categorize it into 2 parts: -- normal bridging, which the most impressive bridging method in normal bridging is "*speed telly bridging*", please search it up, it will blow your mind (admittedly, it does indeed require high cps) -- 0 cps bridging, this is a sub community all about bridging while ONLY holding right click, essentially 0 clicks per second, because you're holding right click all the time, search up "*minecraft dao bridging*", and "*0 cps bridging pro*" or something between those lines The things to search up on KZbin if you're interested in seeing PURE SKILL: FOR MODERN MINECRAFT: - ItzRealMe - Marlow - UHC HT1 - cart pvp in hoplite FOR OLD MINECRAFT: - minecraft block placement nyqo - minecraft block placement versqa - Dewier - fruitberries 1.8 UHC trapping' - speed telly bridging - minecraft dao bridging - 0 cps bridging master hope this helped (god damn this comment is crazy long)

Like the examples you gave about old pvp are about precise block placement, which I don't get what that has to do with new vs old combat, shouldn't that be applicable to either? Like you still didn't really explain to me a reason why the actual combat itself might be considered better in old versions, which is what the other commenter said too, that no one ever really actually explains why the old combat itself is better they just say that it is. Not saying this to put you down, you clearly seem to have a lot of enthusiasm for these really niche sub-categories of pvp and I don't want to take that away from you, but I feel that you still failed to answer my actual question.

Minecraft Java and Bedrock Edition in survival mode there is no longer hitting damage to the entity player's because survival there is not killing the entity player's anymore. But, in hardcore mode to achieve that with PvP player's because hardcore mode there is killing the entity player's.

Minecraft this is boring? The answer is wrong, minecraft is no longer a boring game experience, right? If you shall go play with hardcore mode not survival mode in pvp multiplayer in hardcore mode to be survival mode any no longer hardcore mode will spawned it player's if you shall die multiplayer if you go spawned it with spectator mode there is no longer hardcore mode with spawning PvP players without manhunt.

And secondly don't called it english words "mojang" because it is Swedish words, lost in translation there is incorrect called it name "mojang" words misheard about with Swedish pronunciation in "j" what happened it could be estimation alphabet words if changes sound "y" words. Sweden pronunciation brand name "Mojäng" in English can means "Employs".
