Yes she is indeed mentally unstable to have gone through so much to get just her biological children back! Had she been a normal person like her husband, she would have let go, children would have become drug addicts , had severe mental disorders and would have done suicide. While the father would have found german woman to enjoy his life. Yes this woman is insane who cared sooooooo much for her children by being selfless. Really appreciate Sagarika's bold and courageous attitude....She is an inspiration to many ....However I felt that the film attributes a unidirectional impact on the Society at large,, with regards to the Child Welfare System as well as Family dynamics....A more balanced approach would have been desirable since the movie communicates a very strong and sensitive message to the Society....Just my personal feelings....Not meant to hurt anyone in particular....
