@@shaneelsingh4653 Nice bro! You're a guy that knows what he wants! I can tell you did a lot of research with these programs. I love your reasons behind why you're thinking of each one. SO AWESOME!

This video is super helpful! Ive been using it to do more research in finding a school to transfer to after I get my bachelors. I was wondering however, where do I get information on whether or not a school lets you choose for your clinical rotations? I couldn't find this information on their websites and would love your advice on how to find out!

Good evening; enjoy your videos. I am currently a Physical Therapy Assistant student. If you could please discuss the 2020 fee pay schedule and it’s impact on the PTA profession moving forward if any, thank you

I will definitely address it once things get solidified. It’s still not 100% yet so I don’t want to say anything just yet…

Hey, I love your videos! I just had a quick question. I’m a senior in HS and am applying to colleges soon. I love track and field and have gotten injured many times, which introduced me to physical therapy. I recently worked as a PT aide over the summer, and I loved the environment. I am certain PT is the career for me. That being said, do you think it is worth it to apply to one of those 6 year accelerated DPT programs, or should I go the traditional 7 year route?
@kidxclusive3 жыл бұрын
Hey! 2nd year PT student here. I don’t know what Justin will say but I would recommend the six year route if you KNOW PT is the career for you. You’ll save a ton of money by not wasting time on undergrad classes you don’t need. Also, you won’t take extra classes trying to figure out your major. Spend some time observing in a few more settings, keep those grades high, and gain more experience. You should do fine!!

Nick said it perfectly. If you KNOW PT is the the career for you, choose the route that will get you to graduate the fastest. This will save you BOTH time and money. Every extra year it takes you to earn your degree is income you are not receiving and also additional debt from tuition

Hey man, I’m in need of some knowledge lol. I’m a community college transfer student trying to decide where to go for a PTA Degree. And eventually a PT once I’m ready. I’ve been looking at cal states but they don’t seem to have a PTA program? Any knowledge you can put me on?!?

Is the cheaper the better the school? Do you think US doesn't need a school name value? I am not going to stop working as a physical therapist. I will run a physical therapy clinic, so please reply from this point of view.

Recently visited CSULB and then APU... both so beautiful and different! May I ask what you liked/disliked about the APU campus?
@drjustinleedpt3 жыл бұрын
I loved that the facility is literally NEW, like 2 years old. They have a brand new movement analysis lab that is super high tech, which gives you better insight as to what is going on. I liked that it was small so everything is close to each other and parking wasn’t an issue. Honestly, there is nothing I disliked about it. The smallness of the program and facility is really what is ideal in a program. You WANT to have the attention from professors and a small cohort to be able to ask your questions and get the extra help
