Please also include the following details: - how much does a farmer earn per acre if they had dome farming instesd of giving land for solar in this area(min and max) - why women Shepards are not being allowed - what is the net change in income per household( for small farmers and for large land owners and the difference ) - 21000 per yr leased for 28 yrs at 2% increase every year, how much does it benifit on an average basis when compared to farming where there's ups and downs I generally like the reporting on this channel but I think in this video there's half baked approach where all the factors are not being considered and anecdotal evidence is suggested. Please take this as feedback, thanks

This so foolishness to Blame Government..I mean The least fertile land is procured first. Second-- it's leased and not Bought.. 3rd-- Gov is providing with Good amount of money...(money for not doing anything just for the land) And still some people are blaming gov for not doing Justice. There are some people born to criticize others while they themselves can't do anything.

Same thing happened in Padubidri. Govt gave away prime religious land to Suzlon to set up wind power blade mfr. Local mla’s were fooled into thinking public will get jobs. But zero locals got jobs. Now Suzlon is closed. Land is sold to private developers. Farmers took some petty amounts for their land. And drank it all away. Now all are back c/o footpaths.

Cleaning dust and bird droppings will make this a failure. There are incentives to set up new solar plants. But zero incentives to maintain it.

Good analysis. Farming is the highest employment creator in india. So it must be encouraged and solar must be made on house and company roof tops why destroy more farm land in name of renewables.

Yeah true That area is the most drought prone area in Karnataka & no rivers . So that area was choosen for solar

Govt pays the money, people don't know how to use,so now blame the govt?If farmers don't get money then also blame the govt??Will the govt come to ur doorstep to teach u financial literacy?
