Sometimes back Kenyan radios wouldn't play Genge because of only God knows what, Camp Mulla came with diversity and radio standard music and they still couldn't play them?? I think this country is f*cked up and dont appreciate upcomers until you hit the top by yourself. That's what they also did to gengetone and now arbantone. They're the reason Nigerian music is always on top because without kenya Nigeria wouldn't be where they are today! Its a shame

I stayed in Tanzania for years, and even have a bunch of classic videos. One The Incredible was always my favorite. I didn't and don't speak swahili, but knew he was good from day one I heard him. Then when he started rapping in English I was like cool. Even Abbas told me he had a song with One The Incredible. P The MC, and countless others were on my playlist. I was a Dj in the states, so I know good music

These guys were pioneers of Kenya and for Kenya. If even Nasty C was a fan, aki that was such a big opportunity. All the same, very talented young individuals. I actually have a song with Marcus and MC Pato that he made at his father Gido's studio. He always was dope. I even swear I have pics of him at that Westie hangout everyone used to go to back in the day when Headbangers had that epic studio across from Sarit. Kenyans just hate, which is why they broke up. I think Marcus's sister is married to Raila Junior. The Kibukosyas are good people, and very talented. Gido's father helped with the National Anthem, Gido is extremely talented. I remember days at his studio in Mimosa, where I met the late Ayub Ogada, also a Kenyan great. Kenyans need to appreciate good talent while we still can...i can't believe I still have that song with Marcus and Pato that I gave away for free on a Mixtape at WAPI. Kenyans had alot of coolness to appreciate. It's just the uncool Kenyans not appreciating it that hurts Kenya.
