I have a quick story on Lenny Cooke being my coach. So I walk into the first day of my AAU practice (mind you we are an under armor affiliate) and I see this huge guy there and throughout practice he was talking shit and running with us in the scrimmages and him and I where going back and fourth. The weekend comes and we have a tournament and he was coaching us and I had a great game but was acting a bit cocky he gave me some defensive advice and told me to calm down I asked where he played and he told me to look him up. After that day I was amazed that I never knew who he was. 😂

The Professor was never even close to being an NBA-worthy player. To play in the NBA, especially at his size, (he's not 5-10 and he's very small) you have to be beyond an unbelievable player. I'm glad The Professor found his niche in bball and probably made a lot of money doing so. But...playing in the NBA was never in the cards for him and that's okay. It isn't for most of us! The fact he thinks he could have made the League, under different circumstances, is a bit strange at his age. In The Professor's defense, I certainly understand that big dreams die hard. Many of mine have so I get it but there's some peace to be had in facing reality as much as it hurts.
