The biblical role of an elder can get lost behind personal agendas, perspectives or goals. Rocky Wyatt meets with Pastor-Teacher Tom Pennington from Countryside Bible Church, who is also the voice of The Word Unleashed. Together they discuss some character traits that can surface within elder boards and how those traits are not only counter to the biblical role of an elder, but also distracting and sometimes even destructive. Then Tom and Rocky discuss the qualifications and roles of an elder as outlined in Scripture.
