That’s a great question! You can automate to not send another message after someone clicks the review link. We found that only one and four people who click the review link actually leave a review. And because people often time have a different name for their Google account then their actual name there’s not really a way to tell which review request message triggered the Google review. We found, that it is best to send multiple messages with a very friendly and gentle follow up. That way, in case they left a review after the first message, it’s not a big problem.

Are you able automate it to where people do not get another email requesting a review if they have already written one? Like if someone visits a location multiple times, would they get a request form every time no matter what?
