Overall thoughts / analysis on all the new relics: Equilibrium: actually pretty decent if you are going for points / maxing, but gets a lot less value this league because there are multiple other relics that you can use to make training your least favorite skill faster (such as taking reloaded into another gathering skill / whatever tier 2 you didnt pick), but its a very "safe" choice Pocket Kingdom: Unfortunately going up against 2 very powerful relics, BUT this relic does fulfill a few VERY specific niches - namely, you can use this relic to focus on whatever resources you might be missing from your region (herbs if you dont want to pick herblore relic and dont have many herb patches, seeds for farming training, mahogany logs for construction, etc.) Plus, it was mentioned on stream that the kingdom will fill up to max EVERY HOUR, giving a HUGE resource output. The main problems with this relic are 1, the choices in the tier conflict with it in some way (this relic would be WAY more powerful if the farming relic wasnt in the same tier, and grimoire offers insane utility), and more importantly, this thing eats 750k GP an hour (edit: thank you to those who corrected me, it is half that at 375k, but the cost is still there), basically requiring you either take wildy or golden god to even hope to have enough money. If you keep this thing fed, however, I dont think anything else can keep up with the supply output Treasure Arbiter: Biggest things to note from this relic is that, to my understanding, this is the only way to boost drop rates of clues (and its also the biggest boost we've ever seen - clues will literally be falling out of your pockets), and the max loot rolls on all clues means that the relic is essentially also a loot multiplier for all clues. However, a few things to keep in mind - as Flompie mentioned, Mod Arcane said on stream that there are fewer points related to clues in this league, which means this relic might run out of gas early, and this relic notably does not include thieving in the way it is worded, so don't expect to get 80 easies an hour from H.A.M. members. Still, there is a good amount of good stuff in clues anyway, especially with the boosted unique rates, so a strong relic all around. Production Master: In addition to the buff of essentially making arrows and bolts function like darts in fletching (which is a nice change), there are few more factors this year compared to previous years that make PM a MUCH stronger relic than it already was - most importantly, its in a tier that doesn't have any other skilling relics that it has to compete with (notably endless harvest), meaning that if you are focused on skilling its essentially a free pick. It's also very nice for filling in the gaps left by the other skilling relics you didn't pick, such as smithing which is usually a GIGANTIC pain unless you already picked power miner. Slayer Master: EASILY the most busted slayer relic we have ever seen, however because we are getting 5x slayer points and superiors unlocked automatically, this relic actually seems to be pretty region dependent as to whether or not you pick it - for example, if you have a region where you can get boosted drop rates / extra drops from monster (things like Zeah for brimstone keys, wildy for larran's keys and revs, or fremmy for jaw - or you're just in mory for slayer helm) this relic is EXTREMELY powerful and is basically an auto pick just because it's so powerful in those regions. However, if you aren't in a region like those described above (think Asgarnia or Tirannwn without Mory), OR are in a region with a PVM activity that can't use the slayer helmet (think any raid or the Colosseum), this relic actually loses a lot of value, since 5x points makes it very easy to have a surplus where skipping / blocking tasks isn't a problem. Still, the potential power of this relic CANNOT be understated. I think the overall relic selection this league is EXTREMELY well-tuned, as unless you mess up REALLY bad in terms of both areas and relic I don't think there is a way to completely mess up your experience - each relic, when combined with passives and combat masteries, has its own arguments for being picked either as a comfort pick or as a way to min-max.

Slayer is really easy to train in leagues so idk why you're hyped about it. It's definitely not worth taking for just W, Z, or F. You can literally just do normal Slayer. Who cares if you get more keys by focusing burst tasks or if you can get the jaw slightly earlier? It's only worth picking with M since it gives 15% damage on every Slayer monster, most region bosses, and most every echo boss. Smithing is also piss easy in T. Equilibrium is way better than before. It works on combat skills, and it works with overgrown.

Pocket Kingdom only costs half of what it normally would, but it will definitely eat through gp. It's a late relic, but it is probably very good for getting resources for your harder to train skills if you have plenty of money. I think the black mask isn't necessarily needed with combat masteries, so the slayer relic is VERY niche. I'll still probably take it though since its strongest region is definitely the Wildy. Free looting bag, most Wildy bosses are tasks, and Larran's keys will drop frequently. Also, Krystalia is kind of nerfed in leagues since she can assign non-wildy tasks and each master gives the same points. The slayer relic allows you to just go camp revs and wildy bosses to chase big point drops while training slayer and getting some of the best resources passively.

Thanks for the video, definitely is going to help me in the way I proceed into the leagues. Kinda like the PVM build you showed. Going F/A/M for the regions going probably more melee with dabble in ranged since I can get the bow from a boss in Frem. I saw in a note that the relics and regions don't give me access to White berries or snape grass for potions, but then I noticed the Frem slayer caves where 2 different mobs drop them, so taking that slayer relic will 100% help me out there, Free slayer xp AND potion mat farming, sign my ass up! lol. Anyway, great video, thanks for the information and assistance in how things will go.

first off- hope u feel better flomp lot of people will pick production master/clues but being on task for all mobs means you can use slayer helmet and effectively get crystal armor in 1 slot making morytania such an easy pick. i'm personally going MFA 3/6/1 with 1,3,1,1,3,2,3,3 relics tbow last stand average dps being 76, or regular darts + DFW doing 63 dps is still absolutely insane for learning new stuff and i want to try doing new stuff this league smithing knives and having unlimited rune knives on 1 tick completely outclasses every other weapon that isn't the tbow or dragon darts so that's why im picking power miner for early and infinite knives cause it'll be awhile before i upgrade to dragon/tbow; 22 average dps with just rune knives with fury/regen is very strong.

I'm actually mixed on forestry. I just feel like it could be better somehow. Woodcutting has always been my favorite gathering skill. I was hyped when they announced it and less happy than I thought I'd be when it released. They also made it so you can't teleport around for events anymore which sucks.

now i kind of need to chance a region because i need a black mask for the slayer relic, but i really wanted to try out valamore. and if i don't go valamore but mortania instead, then i will do the museum at a later relic and then swamp lizards for hunter and then grey chins till 99 in zeah. and pocket kingdom is way to far into the relic list same for overgrown. by the time i get there i will already have 99 farming probably also 99 cooking and 99 smiting and mining, without the use of production master. but the grimoire is also not that useful only for some free points for casting spells i guess well and getting ancients because even if i go ranged i dont like TOA to much also because i,m bad at it and the rest the desert has is not so much. oh and fletching will be through broad bolts for me just plain simple wintertod for firemaking, only woodcutting could be slow but not to slow. as for herblore well i need to see probably doing farm runs getting some herbs from pc, i also will get some from wintertod anyway and some from bosses and such.

I’m for sure reloading back into either power miner or animal wrangler depending on what I get first, Dodge Deals, Clue, Slayer, Banker, Overgrown, and Guardian. Depending on how I feel I straight up might reload into friendly forager, and I am not kidding lol. If there was a RuneCrafting relic I would take it.

bankers note makes 99 rc done in under 1 hour, I believe last league people were getting ~13-15m rc xp n hr just unnoting at zmi, would be kind of a dead relic just for rc, even if they jacked up the number of runes, I dont think that would justify passin up the other already op relics. Piety and Rigour literally just change TTK by 1-2s on endgame bosses. Grimoires real power is just never having to switch your spellbook and always having high alch/npc contact, veng, freezes, ensouled heads, and thralls. Also if you look at raids loot tables and factor in that you're going to be getting purples every 1-5 raids, you're not going to get nearly as much supplies as you think.

Yeah Grimoire isn't a huge DPS increase but also access to all spellbooks is nice for some utility (Barrows TP, barrage for sire and maybe tob, death charge, shadow veil, degrime come to mind as things that would be useful for my build)

with what Grimoire is up against? easy pick. the farming relic is mediocre at best since you'll easily have enough passively by doing some farm runs, having a max stack of ranarr's/snapdragons isn't going to do much for you. (doubly so if you pick Varlamore with the herblore minigame) And Pocket Kingdom is just bad imo, it can be nice sure, but compared to having every prayer and spellbook regardless of region? you'll have the COX prayers, all the spellbooks ... also you can hotswap at any point, need to alch? no prob. need to get a new slayer task? no prob, just NPC contact.

@@DarkDyllon I had the same initial reaction to pocket kingdom but it's actually 48x normal loot from the activity... you get double the amount 24 times a day, and you don't need to be logged in. It's actually pretty strong and better than overgrown imo. The loot is good. But I'd rather take grimoire because my other relic choices cover most things pocket kingdom would, except farming - and I like to hit big number

If you take overgrown, you should almost certainly take equilibrium. Also DD gives more agility exp an hour than sepulchre, it's basically required for anyone wanting to max. The real question is if you take reloaded so you can do gathering too, otherwise you have no decent way to get herbs until T7. Otherwise equilibrium with overgrown is very tempting.

If the slayer relic automatically gave the slayer helm boost or a free slayer helm it would be worth taking but if you arent taking mory for a slayer helm its basically just a free 50m slayer xp relic which isnt very useful. Production master has been my go to every league but i came to find it useless early on in the league every time. Treasure arbiter is definitely the way to go for me.

@@skinnyMANtwig you steal unlimited eternal crystal teleports from villagers, trade them in for 100 crystal shards, then craft as many as you want in the singing pool for 5000 crafting/smithing xp. 5000 X whatever multiplier you have at that time. The only struggle would be reaching 80 smithing and crafting. Which wouldn’t be hard if you have frem and GOLDENg. You got blast furnace from frem, And you can buy jewelry from Almost anywhere.

Definitely with the 11 tile radius, you steal unlimited eternal crystal teleports from villagers ->trade them for 100crystal shards-> use those to craft as many eternal crystal teleports to get 5000 crafting/smithing xp. Multiple that with your xp buff at that time. The only hurdle would be getting 80 smithing and crafting to make them But with frem you go blast furnace and with GG relic you can buy unlimited gems after completing the fight cave. You can get 50m xp within a couple minuets when you have the crystals and eternal crystals. Pretty sure it procs 60,000 xp for teleport

some monsters you need to be on task to kill like kraken /cerberus/ araxi and some monsters have a drops thats less rare on task for example Basilisk jaw that goes from 1/5k to 1/1k on task and ofc supirior monsters that can drop gem and heart

You’ll need to do a few early farm runs or just kill things that drop herbs and note them with bankers note. After that, you’ll be able to get pots from raids! I personally will be stealing p pots from tob

Golden god is a trap. Lots of other relics double up as excessive money makers. Unless you are speed running I would avoid. You barely even need money as an iron man. Runes and construction is about it

I’m confused about the slayer relic. If I choose Kourend will I get Brimstone keys from everything? How do I complete slayer threshold tasks (ie: complete 50 slayer tasks, get a slayer task from a specific slayer master) if I’m always on task for everything? Can I still get a slayer task from a master even if I have unlimited tasks?

You still have tasks. Any benefits you would normally gain by being on task work for all slayer mobs (e.g. slayer helm dmg, ability to kill them without a specific task)

In the previous leagues it was a base bonus to the skill you were training. So if you're farming you would get a 10% bonus xp drop in farming, upgraded to 20% if it were your lowest skill. Key word in the description is 'in the skill trained'. It is worded very weirdly, I read it the same way you did too initially lol

I don't think I'd call the slayer one insane. If you have Morytania, sure. If not, you don't have access to slayer helms and the relics honestly seems pretty ass. With Mory it's hard to justify passing on it if you plan to do any real combat, but without Mory I don't know why you would ever take it. *Maybe* Wildy for the keys?

Planning on taking wildy without mory, and struggling to decide if its worth de slayer relic, you do get keys and also have the revenant drop rates lowered but missing the damage makes me think twice

@@flompleYT It's definitely not worthless or anything, but I feel like if your main benefit of the relic (like no Mory/Wildy) is just the XP you get without actually trying, it feels really bad as a relic pick. Like I said, Mory, and maybe even Wildy, it does seem very worth it. Just not really otherwise, and I'm not a fan of relics that are really good with one or two regions and just seemingly bad everywhere else. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe it'll be badass in most of the regions, we shall see.

21:12 one of the very few pieces of content added to OSRS that I actually think is flat out poorly designed, it's like forestry, aerial fishing and wildy altar, the trifecta of bad OSRS content 😂 the only difference is forestry actually has soo many lost opportunities imo In another universe Forestry is an amazing mini game esque skilling activity, but instead we got afk box clicking simulator that turns my beaver into a fox (???) or gives me an axe I need to eat oak leave wrapped sardines in order to be able to use correctly (-:

I honestly think people are massively over valueing slayer master. tasks and skips are free ... great, it's not like we'll be swimming in points. herb sack, rune pouch and loot bags are free, again, we'll be swimming in points. you're always on task if possible, great, but not really. sure a bit more damage, but we'll be already hitting so hard that it wouldn't matter at the end of the day. i'm going ranged and mage, (1-6-3, since the healing from mage is irrelevant to me with ranged healing) i'll be getting a t-bow and the KQ BP, sure I can do a bit more damage, but early on with the KQ BP, i'll have +100% accuracy, on top of rolling twice with the KQ BP. the slayer relic looks strong on paper, but you're not getting more superiors, since you'll likely not be killing every random monster around. the "free" part is irrelevant. the extra EXP is irrelevant, don't think slayer is counter as a combat stat, so it won't go to x16 on t3, but still at x8, get a jad task and you'll be getting a massive amount of EXP. the clue relic is good probably if you're not picking the clue compass relic, which honestly, you're throwing if you're not, the fairy rings are generally out of the way, while bank heist is made irrelevant due to so many banks having clue staches next to them, aka, clue compass not only allows you to teleport to those banks, but also to clues instantly, if not due to hard/elite/master, stupidly close.

You basically need clue relic for all the point tasks. And the slayer works as a money maker, dps increase, exp increase and a time saver avoiding all the bad/slow tasks. It's very very good. Very hard not to pick production master though for the note synergy

@@donsolos the thing I struggle with the slayer master relic is that it sounds good on paper, like of course having more DPS is good ... if you take Mory (which i'm not but that's beside the point) the bonus' it gives you are kinda irrelevant quite fast. "free block/skips" are we forgetting that we instantly get points and don't need to kill 5 tasks first? also that the points are increase x5? if we take 12 from Nieve as a lowball estimate that's still 60 points per task, not counting the milestone tasks, completing 1 task = 2 skips, that's 300 points for a 10 task streak, that's 10 skips. (bigger and badder gets auto unlocked and most other unlocks are either irrelevant or cheap enough at that point. the free rune pouch, herb sack or loot sack is nice, but again, as above, you'll have plenty of points quite quickly. Also that Herb Sack and Rune Pouches are 1 time purchases in most cases, the looting bag can be a multi purchase, but also not expensive. but we're gonna be so massively overpowered that the small increase in DPS isn't that massive anymore, especially not at the point you get the relic.

@@DarkDyllon you need tons of points if you want to farm slayer bosses as well. It's just a nice qol that really gets the PvM ball moving in mid game. I mean its up against production which is just qol. If you pick W/Z it will be great for keys. And again the money maker is legit. I wont be picking golden goose

​@@livezezian6900 the prayers are a minuscule dps increase, just not worth burning a relic slot for that. What do you need the spellbooks for? Ancients? If you're a mage you're picking desert anyways, otherwise they're useless. Arceuus for thralls? Same thing as the prayers, barely a dps increase. You'll probably get to use half the teleports, if that, because of region locks and assuming you take clue compass (which is the obvious choice), I dunno how you'd be lacking in tp options.

@@Inshallahsiuuuu ok ill keep it simple; my regions and previous relic choices will make overgrown and pocket kingdom provide little to no value. I value the utility and teleports alone far more than the 2 other relics so the BIS prayers are just a good bonus.

​@@Inshallahsiuuuulunar utility spells are not to be overlooked. It's basically a requirement for my region choices. All 3 prayers + ancients and Lunars is a lot of value. Kingdom relic is straight overkill. 1 week of harvesting it and you wont even need it anymore
