Luke S I mentioned reel size for daiwa and shimano for each rod as voted reels are too many so i just merged into brand reel size like shimano 14000/ daiwa 5500
@@goisofishing is palms shoregun a good rod? What can you say about it?
@goisofishing3 жыл бұрын
@@tabutog I never used shoregun so I don't have specific comments on their rods whether it's good or bad but i guess it'd be a good for someone who wants to start lure fishng for 1st rod as it's not too expensive, and is reasonable price.

I enjoy your videos, thank you. In New Zealand the most popular kind of heavy shore lure rod would be about 8 feet long. People here who fish stickbaits from the rocks tend to use boat casting rods (about 8 ft). I guess this is partly because the longer shore lure rods, about 10 ft, are hard to find in the shops here.

It's same in Australia but some pro shops import these high-end rods from Japan so I see more anglers use these rods around Sydney areas. 10ft length is still common and popular in Japan but interestingly shorter rods like 8-9ft for rock shore are getting into the market these days.
