@@PainFreeYou thanks to this program and you. I mean, I know I did the work, but running into your videos and these concepts were a game changer for me. I really can’t thank you enough, Dan. I don’t listen daily anymore. I try not to try to hard. Such a balance lol But every time I do your talking about exactly what I need to hear. Even if it’s an old video that pops up. I have a playlist with your videos that sometimes I save if I don’t have time to watch. There are over 100 and I’ve watched most of them. Lol I’m sure I’ve watched more than that in total. I was watching daily early on, and it was very instrumental in my recovery. I may implement it as part of my morning routine. If you do it every morning, I probably should too lol Sorry for the long comment/book lol

You're 100% right. Atm sensations like a 🌈. Allergies up, struggling to breathe whilst sleeping then panic attacks. I know cortisol ups our reactions to allergies, ear issues, muscle issues. Grief not far away, sensations peak. MRI next week, funeral next week, being in the same environment as estranged family members. PDP obese. I know I can get through but I'm also holding so many tears back. I don't need anymore evidence. I have to shift the thinking. Staying outside to convey safety. 🙏

2 months ago i was doing so well with this. June 17 I was diagnosed with DVT. Ive fallen into anxiety. Depressed now fear. So many new symptoms. Not coping at all. This is not neuroplastic. Its real it can kill me. I may be 74. But hoped to go a bit further. I am lost. I dont know what to do now. I dont want to die. But i cant live like this. Dragging my family down. Love this Dan. Wish i could get back. 😢

@PainFreeYou 22 күн бұрын
I'm no doctor, but to my knowledge DVT IS a medical condition, but there are treatments for it. Are you on blood thinning medication? Many are able to dissolve the clots. New symptoms are likely not from the DVT, but are more symptoms of a brain perceiving danger. Do your best to remain calm and not tell yourself a story that this will take you out. Yes, there are risks, but deciding in advance it WILL happen is a surefire way to stay terrified. Calm is way better than panic. But I do understand your predicament. Sending Love.

I was just thinking about the concept of negative emotions.. do they really exist those NEGATIVE ones? Aren’t they just normal, to be felt emotions? If we as pleaser and perfectionist would embrace ALL emotions and be able to express them in a safe way and space,lots of mindbody problems wouldn’t even exist.. Just my idea 💡 on it! Have a blessed day Dan and everyone ❤

@@cg6067 yes ok but in the case of expressing, we need to accept these ‘ negative ‘ feelings are residing in Us too , feel them and release them. They won’t dissolve by just adding positive ones ..
@EllieJ-kd6dl

I agree.... I believe all 'emotions' are just energy passing through the body.. The terms 'positive' or 'negative' are just our own interpretation of our experiences... Of course, no-one wants to be in pain or suffer or experience anything less than vibrant health - but I believe all 'emotions' are there as signals to the body.. When the emotions are not expressed or felt (for whatever reason) - they get shoved down and repressed and will stay in the body.. I know there are very different camps on whether it's necessary to 'access' emotions and feel them to release/discharge them - and that's absolutely fine, we all must follow what we intuitively feel is right for us individually... I also believe that all emotions need to held, embraced, felt and expressed in order to dissolve... How many times have we heard: "What the mind suppresses - the body expresses...." ❤❤❤

@@Inge508 yes feel everything, but we do know that doing pleasurable things, really enjoying ourselves, produces "feel good" chemicals in the brain so the more pleasurable things we do neutralizes the "nasty" stuff. This is why Sarno tells us to carry on with our lives, doing the stuff we like doing and eventually this dumbs down the pain channels.

The brain simply perceived some type of danger. Perhaps consciously or even subconsciously. The key is to respond as calmly as possible. You are not starting over. You just have high sensations. Get back to the right mindset and it will settle back down. kzbin.info/www/bejne/eJmxZIWbhrh1hq8

Dan, my friend, thanks largely to your videos I have more or less come out of the 18 month long nightmare of chronic pelvic pain. Presently struggling with debilitating heart palpitations -- premature atrial and ventricular ectopics. Now these are really scary. Two cardiologists, three EKGs, two holter monitors and two echocardiograms haven't made any difference. How do I tell my brain that this won't trigger a fatal arrhythmia and SCD (sudden cardiac death)?
@PainFreeYou
@PainFreeYou 22 күн бұрын
While you cannot convince yourself that it WON'T trigger something bad, you CAN convince yourself that panicking about it is not the best strategy to avoid it. Do what you can to calm your fears, focus on freaking out less, trust your body to do what it's supposed to do. Staying in fear and the fight or flight response will not help.

There is no scientific reason "why" that can be proven. My theory is that once we are good at not giving a specific symptom a lot of fear or attention, it can settle down quickly. However, if the brain hasn't been taught you are safe overall, it will stay hyper vigilant and keep on finding other perceived dangers and thus, symptoms. Know that none of the symptoms are necessary and you are safe overall.
But Dan, I'm Doing the Work
