I absolutely love Alpe D’Huez. It’s so well laid out and is a wonderful ski resort. I particularly liked the scary chairlift 😮🎿

I'm a more or less beginner skier, and for the 2026 season it's a toss up between this or La Plagne, never been to France, and can't read French, so I wouldn't know what to order in any restaurant. Plus the fact I'd be going on my own via Crystal Ski.

@@Puzzoozoo IMO la Plagne isn't as pretty. AD is more postcard like. And as a beginner I think sightly Warmer is good so AD might have the edge this time 🎿

@patmagroin9950 tough to say what you are used to. I didn't find it as expensive as some resorts, but typically the Italian resorts would likely save a few pence 👌🏻please be sure to subscribe it really helps us 👊🏻
