You have been so busy! Still in awe of the pants and I avoid linen because I am so bad at ironing

I'm working my tushie off! 🤣 The linen was wrinkled just by me thinking of wearing them! 😂😂😂

I have an apron belly, & A Large high bubble booty, it’s a pain trying to get shorts, skirts & pants tailored enough to fit around my body. You know what works though? I use my hip measurement and cut up into a curve that way the waist doesn’t turn out so big on me! For example Gertie’s patterns are drafted very “boxy shaped”so I usually have to curve the fit (starting from hips up to waist). It’s all in the cut of the garment 😅-this probably makes no sense, But it works for me 😂

It 100% makes sense to me! I find that late 40s to 50s patterns are pretty good with a hip to waist ratio. I always need to grade up, but find the proportions pretty good.
