Very interesting theory! the only thing that makes me question it is the Kallter’s clothing makes me think they live in a cold area. Same with the name Icengate. It would be quite the plot twist that they do not actually live in a cold place but an exotic area instead!

not sure if you noticed, but if you look in the back right of the painting there’s actually a volcano which could be garnok’s fury, which definitely proves this theory even further. i can’t believe i missed that painting when i was in fort maria😂

oh yes that's a good remark! thank you for your comment! and I just want to add that it could also be the volcano in Ashland which would confirm that the area on the painting is obviously behind Icengate

My theory is that remember horse island back in the day when sso let you take your horse on vacation and there was a cutscene of sso showing you what the island looked like and since your not able to take your horse to horse island anymore, it looks a lot like the painting you showed in fort Maria library which has a lot of ancient stuff snd horse island is considered ancient at this point. So the after horse island photo looks alot like that painting and as you showed, the painting had a lot of Pom trees resembling tropical area just like horse island.

They actually confirmed the Kallters being behind the Icengate in the new event, on the Tour of the Valley, it brings you to the Icengate and confirms the Kallters live behind the gates. So I guess it’s official
