Not really. Carriers are so unbalanced because wg is fine with carriers being too strong as long as the cv population stays above where it was when they were rts

I just started playing a few days ago and im working on Japanese Destroyers and they just sink too easy. Battleships seem to be the meta. Carriers are good support for the Battleships. Destroyers have too little firepower and hull strength to stand a chance against Battleships. Only thing i see Destroyers being good for is flanking and providing smoke cover. The namesake is very ironic.

Personally I think destroyers are the best simply because it is so satisfying when you Tokyo drift through the entire battlefield and then RKO out of nowhere a battleship with a full torpedo volley, but that’s just me

Actually, to be honest, there is no best class, each tech tree varies and they all have their advantages and disadvantages. But if you ask for the best ship in the game, it would either be Franklin D Roosevelt or Thunderer (conqueror now since thunderer was removed). Edit: cruisers can heal at tier 9, british cruisers can heal at tier 8 and British cruisers and battleships get access to super heal.
