I would've liked to see more on the differences- for example there is no non-calc paper in igcse. I think there are content differences too.

Yes, there is a slight difference in both papers and grading. I've been told GCSE grading is a little more lenient, but I can't confirm.

Usually, it's said that Edexcel is easier than Cambridge, in terms of the exam paper. However, Cambridge is more well known in Asian and Middle-Eastern countries.

Some subjects in iGCSE, like Maths and English, may have variations. For example, Maths A and Maths B. It depends on what your school is teaching.

if the exam boards are different then will the content differ. im an igcse student sometimes i refer gcse notes. is it okay for me to do that?

Most of the times, you'll find that the content is similar across different boards. It's totally alright to refer to GCSE notes, but you should still keep in mind that you eventually have to follow the iGCSE syllabus.

Yes, it is. In fact, it's considered one of the best exam boards! Of course, you have to take into consideration countries like those in South Asia etc. where they don't follow the GCSE system at all.

Im in Kenya for a while now and im doing igcse (edexcel ) so if I pass and go back to the U.k (where I originally came from) will they still accept me into a university/college please answer

There are never any mandatory subjects, but usually Maths and English are always taken, because universities will not accept you without those subjects. Both GCSE and iGCSE include essay writing, but in different forms.

There's no such thing, both are considered equal in difficulty. If anything, when you check GCSE papers, they seem more simplified sometimes, like for Literature, where they get passages to answer from, whereas in iGCSE, the student has to recall everything from memory.

Hi I liked your video and I got a question what is better igcse or a- level? And if you want to study do you need both igcse and a-level or igcse is enough if you have a good result?

You need iGCSE to be able to sit A-Levels, and A-Levels are a MUST if you want to get into any good uni easily, or study abroad and apply for student visa and the like etc.
