I"m still confused as to what to buy, since I don't own the 1st edition. I guess I'll just check it out at GenCon and figure it out.

Man this sucks. I bought the conversion edition because I thought this is a complete box with the main game and the expansion and now I am missing all the monster. This is just STUPID! I wasted money for nothing! This is a total ripoff. The manual and the backside of the box declares what should be inside and it mentions that those "5x10 (total 50) cards should be a part of it but in the end it isn't. If you do not watch this video here and wait until the end you get totally screwed and get a half ass 1/3 of a game. I ordered this from the UK and I live in Austria. Thanks for nothing!

We're sorry this happened to you! The Conversion Edition should have been advertised on the website you purchased from clarifying that the 1st edition is require to play. It's stated on the front of the box. We'd recommend reaching out to where you purchased it from for an exchange. @@KeymasterGames - I already filled out the online form on your site that those cards are missing a couple of hours ago. So it should be in your mail. First and foremost it is not stated or better to say was not stated on the front of the box. The front said "Converts 1st Edition into 2nd Edition and includes 1st Expansion" - But nothing is said that this is not a full game. It sound like if it is an updated version of the first Edition into the 2nd one just with more cards and re-made parts of the game (improvements). And even more you get the impression on the box itself if you turn it around and also within the manual if you open the box because both clearly declare what the box Content is and the manual declares what the Box content is too. And in both cases it says "Contents: 5 sets of 10 Campy Creature Cards (50)" I've send you photos along with my email which proves my statement here. This was in fact the major misleading part. Because I've seen this box in my city within a game shop before and I took photos of the box to not forget the name of this game. And like I mentioned I read the back and also what this games includes. But next time I went there the game was sold and so bought it from the UK instead. It is really misleading if the box mentions the parts of this game which should be inside but in the end you get only half of it. I also do not see the point why even producing such a version to begin with. I mean what is the purpose on buying the 1st Edition with the same parts and pieces only a smaller board print and those monster cards and then buying a Conversion Edition which includes the same Human cards, the same Location cards except one new one but without the main most important monster cards. It is like selling a starter deck for Magic but only with landscapes in it and then buying a conversion edition only to get 3/4 of the content as duplicates again?

Yes the box, being the 2nd Edition box will have all the writing on it for the whole game, and we totally understand that we should have covered the back of the box because that's led to confusion. We tried to let everyone know on the front of the box with a visual and text that you noted. And we're sorry that wasn't enough.

Like I mentioned before I filled out the online form (on your webpage) around 6 hours ago about those missing cards including photos and my address.
