What's does a new rider think about the 2023 ninja 1000sx?

Great thoughts on the bike. Definitely a different perspective to what I was thinking. It’s nice that you had something to compare it to even if they were a zx6 and s1000r. Different but it is something in between in a way.

Would you say its smoothness makes it a bit boring despite having 1043cc?

If it's boring, it's because for most of the ride he is operating at low revs and short shifting like crazy.

It’s both, if that makes sense. It has a smooth engine, smooth suspension and quiet sound when taking it easy. Give it some and it will definitely surprise you. Not as good as zx10 around corners, but not as bad as a zx14r. I’ve owned all three, currently have the 1000sx. I’m beyond happy with it.

The rider has no slow speed maneuver skills and he talks about weight…LMAO…I own this and a 2019 Harley Heritage which is over 200lbs heavier…and here this dude is almost dropping the bike at a stop sign…Bro, you absolutely don’t need to be doing reviews!! But props anyway bc you’re a rider!!!

Wrong. This isn't like every inline 4. Don't talk about bikes you've never ridden.

@@superduperkid3143no he is right. To get the full understanding/appreciation of this bike you need to rev it high in the rpm. But it has plenty of torque so most would never really need to get it up there. Beauty of this bike is it can be many different bikes in one. Definitely scary quick in the high revs. Maybe a little plain in the lower revs.
