Welcome back to our cottage garden! As we move from Spring to Summer we thought we would take a look at what's in flower. It's the beginning of rose season and the vegetable garden and polytunnel are showing signs of life.

What a lovely garden and what a lovely woman you are too, just like your roses. Thanks for sharing the beauty. I am a garden lover too and live in Santa Cruz, California zone 9B. I appreciate you prioritizing the bees who are so vital for our world. Happy gardening! Mary

Lovely garden! Here in my rather small yard in Ohio, USA the Korean and Sensation lilacs and chocolate chip bugleweed have finished blooming, the apricot irises and red knock-out rose are in full bloom, the butterfly bush, iron weed, hydrangeas and ornamental grasses are growing rapidly. The butterfly and Endless Summer hydrangeas should bloom soon but the iron weed won’t come into bloom until late summer.

I am new to your channel (as of about 3 hours ago) and I am so in love with your Gardens. I live in South Florida USA "hot and humid" 😅 But I Love It !!! What are the Daisy's along your foot path and stairs ? We have a Dahlberg Daisy, which has a similar going habit, but I really would like to try the ones you have. Thank you and look forward to many wonderful videos. 🐛🌻

I'm in love with your garden. Everything is so beautiful! I love how many bees there are and the orchard is fantastic! There is something I deeply love about wild flowers. There isn't much growing here with me since I can't grow in the garden, but I've got a purple flower (I have no idea what it is called) from my aunt as belated birthday gift that is standing in my room and it's so pretty.

4:26 Yes! Every time that I bought roses for my mum for Mother's Day, they had roots on them. Buying cut roses is such a let down, almost never any fragrance and they are dead in 2 weeks time. The last rose that I bought for my mum was a Chlotilde Soupert , an 1890s romantic, cabbage rose form, polyantha, remains quite small, so it lives in a massive terra cotta pot. Chlotilde has perfect medium sized cabbage roses with moderate to high volume old rose scent. She is quite a darling to have elevated up to eye level near a frequently used path. Everyone needs a Chlotilde. 10:10 Yes, i have kept honeybees for 45 years. Life is not complete, summers not idyllic with no honeybees. 10:31 We brought our little bulldog puppy home 10 years ago. When he was young, he would go with me and eat a lot of ripe, black raspberries from wild growing plants. Now that he is 10 years of age, he refuses to eat any!

I'm in Somerset too. So pleased to have found your channel. Love your garden! It's so charming and love your tours with chatting about what everything is and what is happening in the garden. I've been in my house 1.5 years and have just started to redesign front garden. Want to have colours I like and make it into a cottage garden. It's looking a bit bare at mo but I think I just need to give it time and enjoy the process!
