I make baked pancakes for my husband's breakfast, I made a double batch, liberally grease a large baking sheet, pour the butter on it, and Bake 350° for 12-15, minutes, they really puff up....... I added chocolate chips too the batter and instead of syrup he likes peanut butter. 😁😁 he loves them !! I have never had porridge, not even sure what it is, like an oatmeal?? I'm in the US so maybe that's why. Thank you for sharing!! ❤

I just love your videos 😍. DISCLAIMER though, adding milk to your porridge is not a good idea. Studies show that Calcium in milk inhibits the absorption of Iron in the body. In kids it can cause serious anemia issues because porridge is one of the best sources of iron.

Thank you for this.
@suzyben96432 жыл бұрын
It's true but it only happens when you add the milk to boil together with the porridge. Adding later when the porridge is already cooked DO NOT interfere with the calcium in the porridge.
@carolinekiendeuse52162 жыл бұрын
True but as long as the kids get iron in other foods, it's okey to add the milk

Wow i never make breakfast unless am off the all day. American life can be so hectic that you dont enjoy life with ypur family. But i make breakfast weekends that we are off. I try to have one meal with my family avery night but i have realized this young adult we are raising and having their money able to drive its hard to make them eat at home. But i love catching up with my family and i believe this helped us alot when growing up to create memorable memories. Suzie trust me this is the perfect gift you can gove your kids. As an adult i remember those good time that we all could spend time together and now the person who was holding the family together left us 2 yrs and one piece of the puzzle is missing and life has never been the same but you have been an Inspiration lady that i came across on social media

I think you should stick with the hot chocolate for your kids. Tea does have caffeine and children's metabolism over react to the stimulus in caffeine. Same reason why they shouldn't be taking too much sugar. Allow their bodies to develop b4 caffeine is introduced (or maybe never even lol)
