So as you were making your chapati, it dawned on me..... Mexican cuisine has tortillas, Italians have focaccia bread, Greeks have pitas, India has Naan ....... we Americans have buns and have pretty much adapted to everyone else's breadand flat breads, but it's very interesting how every cuisine has a flat bread or tortillas we use for dinner....... oh we love bread !! Even back to the bible times with barley bread, they would make a big batch of dough in the morning and use it for what we consider dumplings, for breakfast, at lunch it would be used as small loaves or patties of bread, and by supper it would have hardened into more of a cracker, which if they had travelers show up, they would have given some of them to the travelers for food for their trip...... as was custom you fed anyone and everyone who showed up at your door.... bread of life. Very biblical if you ask me. Thank you for sharing all your videos and as always your complete enthusiasm for life is so beautiful!! ❤❤❤

Thank you for the wonderful recipes Suzy!! Day 1: Chapati, beans and cabbage. The Chapati flour had been prepped before. Beans were also pre - cooked. Day 2: Matoke minced meat and greens. Day 3: Ugali, sausage stew, greens (creamed spinach) Day 4: Egg noodles (from Carrefour). You can also spaghetti chicken breasts mixed in Veggies then add on spaghetti to the veggies mix.

Having moved to a new country from Kenya and without the luxury of a househelp, I came back to re-watching all your batch cooking videos. This time round, not to admire but to actually start batch cooking. Coz my life is falling apart with cooking three meals a day- everday. Your channel is literally saving my sanity, my children, and my marriage. Thank you so much, Suzy, for being you and saving us women. My family is now enjoying batch cooked, yummy food, and I am happier. I am sorry for downgrading frozen frozen food. It's sooooo yummy. Even rice, chapat vegetables I freeze nowadays. Freezer ndo sina tu kubwa. A side note: I really love how you are beginning to add family time to spice up the channel even without showing their faces❤🎉.
