I applaud you for trying to do a plant based diet. Especially cooking for your family too.

Yea someone on here also does split meals. I'm vegan, trying to shift to plant based, and my family isn't so I have been looking for ideas that meat or whatever can be added to at the end on their plates. Thank you for ideas

AAWWWWW Thank you for your kind words and shout out! I was at work and got the notification that you posted a video, and then throughout the night I gained some new subs, I thought, “hhhhmmmm I wonder if Jessica mentioned my channel :D” so sweet! You did great so far making plant based dinners!!! It must be so hard to make separate dinners, that would definitely not motivate me to eat plant based. You made a comment that oil wasn’t plant based, I was a little confused. Maybe you meant not healthy...? Because it is plant based ;) That tahini quinoa salad looked really good, I’ll have to try that! As well as the coconut bacon!!! Omg yes!!!!! And I’m gonna try the Napa cabbage salad you made too!

I've been meaning to give you a shout out for a while but keep forgetting! I'm really only familiar with the whole plant based thing because of Dr Campbell who wrote the China Study (and that's also the cookbook I use sometimes) and he advises not to use oils much because they're highly processed and foods are stripped of all nutrients when they're turned into an oil, left with just fat. And of course there are lots of people/doctors who say oils are good for you so who knows... I'll just continue to use it in moderation. I'd been meaning to ask if you still used it.

Ya we are trying to limit our oil usage as well. It’s definitely not “Whole Food” plant based, but it is not from animals, and helps in the transition to eat oily fats when you’re adjusting to less animal fats. We can see a difference in our digestion when we eat too much oil, so we try to limit it. :D
