My name is Sai... and when I tell people my name when I meet them, they automatically think that I'm associated somehow with the Gangnam Style MV. A couple of times, I've had people just dance like a horse in front of me and I find it disrespectful. Aigoo~ Me: "I'm Sai." Person: "You mean like-" Me (Interrupts): "No. Just... no."

Kind of fun that Tae Kwon Do mention the Korean mafia. I actually met a couple of ggangpaes in Busan at a restaurant. We talked tattoos, cause I have several bamboo tattoos. We talked about that I was from Sweden and how much they liked Sweden. It ended up with us having BBQ and drinking soju together and they didn't under no circumstances let me pay for it. They were fun guys, but I certainly didn't want any deeper contact with them. But it's a fun and bizarre memory. Lol!

+sweetandtastyTV Thank you for a great channel! I could probably tell a thousand stories. How I won over my Korean mother I law, due to the fact I'm dating her daughter. But my girlfriend done the biggest work. She is out to her colleagues, friends and family. I'm extremely proud of her, that she had the curage to do that. I just needed to be extremely polite, respectful and a cooked some awesome food for her. I know this is for sure not the norm in Korea. Just wanted to some support and hope, for LGBTQ-people in the same situation. Once again, thank you for an excellent channel! :D

When I watch K-dramas I notice that they sometimes emphasize some words OR phrases (I am not too sure which b/c I dont know Korean). But I was wondering why and when is it that they do this. I have not been able to figure out if it is a word or a specific reason each time they do. But its like they add a breathy sound coming from the back of the throat and usually make a specific face or movement of their head. Can you tell us the reason for that?

The way I got my head around the exchange rate between the Korean Won and the Japanese Yen was by comparing them to the USD. In the States, say something costs a $1.00. A quick way of figuring out what the cost is in Yen would be to multiply by 100, since 1 Yen is $0.01. With Won (same $1.00 item), if you want to come to a quick answer, just multiply by 1,000, since 1 Won is around $0.001. If you want to go in reverse with the currency and convert it back just divide (yen - 100); (won - 1,000).

I was talking to a korean guy that I tutor and he told me that Gangnam is know for their plastic surgery too. He said that if you see people walking around all covered up with hats, masks, gloves, etc. that means that they just came from the plastic surgery hospital. I've never been to korea so idk if it's 100% true.

I didn't say information wasn't accessible, and I don't know why people don't know. They are busy, they don't watch entertainment shows, they don't bother to look it up, etc. If people want to know bad enough, they can look it up. But many don't.

Your detailed explanation can help alot of people who are now curious about psy and S. Korea without feeding the ignorance. Thank you x infinity
