Hey Thomas, That monohull with the open concept is called a monocat. The charter company Moorings tried a Dufour Yachts Monocat Atoll 43 back about 20 years ago. Didn't catch on then. Maybe its time is now. Keep up the great vids.

A trick from the caravan world to reduce water usage at a sink or shower is a little plastic disk with a small hole in it placed in the supply line somewhere near the water fixture, such as right behind the head. The small hole only allows a small amount of water through and thus, reduces flow. If it is too small, simply make it a little bigger with a drill.

Can you comment on the Jotun anti-foul product?…The yard had it in Panama? Cost vs the more we’ll known brands like Pettit/Interlux? I see they make several levels of protection. Thanks and enjoy your channel!

The anti fouling from Jotun was found at the free trade zone in Colon. They only had the red colour available so that’s why I had red. But being the best brand back home also turned out to work excellent even in tropical waters. Tried to get my hands on Jotun here as well, but would take weeks to get it. It was even 50% cheaper than the one I put on now. All the best 🍻

Hei Frank og takk for at du så denne episoden. Timesprisene er litt billigere en hjemme, så relativt dyrt sammenlignet med andre øyer. Men de jobber dobbelt så raskt her og er profesjonelle så det blir fort veldig mye billigere til slutt. Ca 12k nok for løft og sjøsetting og to uker på land. Inkluderer leie av støttebukker, stiger, og vann. landstrøm er tillegg, men mye billigere en hjemme nå😀 Alt av båtutstyr er omentrent som hjemme, og større ting som joller etc dyrere pga frakt. Seilmaker her er veldig bra og billigere en hjemme. Riggerverkstedet er blant de beste i Caribia, og langt fra dyrest. Så i sum vil jeg si Martinique er øyen å seile til etter Atlanteren, og definitivt stedet å klargjøre for Stillehavet. Håper det gav deg et lite innblikk. Cheers 🍻

Awe... you are a wonderful example of a modern male that is of use to us women and we thank you for this gentle nature you have and how well you work to show your appreciation for being allowed to be our friend!. I wish more modern males would realize that they can be of more use by acting like you do and not pushing affection on us... it is right and proper and admirable that not all males need affection from women and they know their place in the world and accept it willingly.- what a great world for us that would be!
