Just a small thing to note, in Triple Trouble, rings *only* appear when Tails, Knuckles, or Robotnik are against BF. Just like the theory that Robotnik resist Sonic.EXE, it’s also believed that the characters are trying to help BF even in death so that he would not face the same fate they did.

Fun Fact: in Sunshine, originally when the lights went out, they made it so you couldn’t see the arrows at all, and that you would have to remember the pattern, lit up by the Tails Doll’s module. The reason for the module pattern, was that every time Tails Doll hits an arrow, the module lights up the color of the arrow. They removed this because they dev’s thought it was too hard.

The theory of Eggman not being controlled (idk how to better say it) seems very likely. I mean, first of all, he cuts into the song, before BF is even finished with his part. It's very abrupt. Then of course, you have the static appearing in the song. My guess is that Xenophane is trying to take the wheel again, shortly after Eggman appeared, but can't. Then of course, there is the laugh, which could be mocking towards Xenophane, but i'm not sure. There's also the fact that it's called 'Triple Trouble' (reffering to Tails, Knuckles and Xenophane) but with Eggman, there are four. Something i wanna mention, which probably isn't important, is how the song gets more difficult, the longer it plays, peaking at the second time Xenophane shows up, but then decreases again.

Some things you missed here; Certain moments in some of the songs reference other songs in the sonic series. For example; Sonic's first part in Triple Trouble is a reference to the drowning theme which is also the theme that plays right before tails gets caught in the original sonic.exe game. In Eggman's part of Triple Trouble, when the static fades away for the second time, he starts singing the Sonic 2 boss battle theme. I believe there are more but I can't remember most of them.

A reference you missed for Fleetway: Near the end of the song, it shifts to a more epic tone. That segment of epicness is a leit-motif to the Death Egg Robot's theme in Sonic The Hedgehog 2 and Sonic Generations. Edit: There's actually a lot of video game motifs throughout the entire game. Go ahead and look for them if you wish.

The two main leit-motifs are Perfect Chaos Revival (final boss of Sonic Adventure) and Death Egg Robot (final boss of Sonic 2) The first issue of Sonic the Comic takes place shortly after the events of Sonic 2, and the final arc of the comic (before the publisher filed bankruptcy) covered the events of Sonic Adventure. 'fun' fact: in the cutscene at the beginning of the mod, the mod makers are listed. however, one name is in gold: divide. Divide made some sprites and assets for sonic.exe. why is his name in gold? well, almost a week after the mod was released, divide passed away due to what seems to be dehydration. his name is in gold as a tribute. For the Sonic CD one, I remember hearing that there was no one known as Majin on the Sega development team so thats why it was also a bit creepy. But this was an insanely good video. I’ve been a fan of sonic.exe and sonic himself. Loved the comics as well. I always assumed Lord X was based of Scourge the Hedgehog, which is basically a different universe and was more cocky and evil. But thanks for the info on lord X! There are still more fun facts, in sunkys left pose we can see him holding a bowl of cereal referncing his goal in sunky.mpg (giving his friends a nice creal breakfest) and his down pose is the same like one in sunky.mpgs tails level when he apeard on the screen multiple times. Also, some may noticed it, the background of "chaos" shows only 6 Chaos emeralds with the Master emerald even though in (most) sonic games there are always 7 emeralds. From my observations, each of the three have some shadow of their former selves. Tails was never a character to hurt but to help Sonic, and seeing BF actively fight back probably shook something in him to offer some kind of help in the form of rings, even if he's still forced against him. Knuckles has always been someone who is tricked into fighting for the wrong side, not stupid, but naive. His old self as someone to fight back is still here, just like in the original game where he keeps swinging at EXE to no avail. Thus, he keeps trying to hurt BF with invisible and static notes. Eggman is unique in that you can tell he is fighting much more strongly. He's always hated Sonic, and the thought of working under him, even if it's some evil corrupted version, probably makes him none too keen to follow orders. He's not giving EXE the opportunity to control him, but still wanting a good fight just like old times. After all, how many flee in terror whereas BF fights back. It's a great challenge for the former big bad.

Theory: Sonic’s old idle might be a reference to “Ten years of chasing Tails”, a remade version of the original Sonic.exe fangame. The reason why assume the idle is based off of TyocT is because in the game, sonic’s eyes are small and white in most parts. like it’s “i am god” part. and the idle for sonic used to be sonic.exe with tiny white eyes. and thats why i think his idle was based off of TyocT.

A neat thing to note about tails is that he is the only character who warps in very unpredictable ways. (down pose) Also, the only part of him that warps is his head. Not to mention how he is also the only character who's body color changes in any severe way. I believe that his head was not reattached to his body, but rather we are seeing some kind of spirit? I feel the need to point out that Lord X didn't originate from the Sonic PC Port, only his design. Lord X is a character created by the original creator of the Sonic.EXE creepypasta who appeared as a main antagonist in its official, albeit more obscure sequel, "Cult of X", and thus, the Sonic PC Port seems to be closely following the original vision for the story by using Lord X, who was apparently so obscure that most just assumed he was FROM the PC Port. The design is undoubtedly much different, however, as the original Lord X design was a dark, twisted yet very smoothed out and well-dressed variant of Sonic with fancy clothing in the form of a typical supervillain's, the "X" theme being very present on the outfit.

To this day I cannot bring myself to listen to can you feel the sunshine in a dark room alone because my dumb 7 year old self was so guilible and terminally online that the superstition stuck very hard lmao. And both variations of the curse were extremely common. Either the Bloody Mary method of playing Can You Feel the Sunshine in reverse in the dark or playing the tag mode and tagging Super Sonic last. Other times though, they would combine both methods. It would just depend which variation you saw first growing up. Because at least from my recollection of at least the late oughts-early teens, the two methods I saw frequently described online when the subject came up at that time was the Bloody Mary one and the combination.

I dont think you have said this in the video, but the blurry notes are a reference to the second stage of the creepypasta, where Knuckles was going back and fourth trying to punch fake blurry Sonic.exes, and it ended with him being too tired, the mod makes a reference to this by how the more you hit a blurry note the more it drains your health, the notes were also introduced on the *second* "stage" of the mod, that also has the same name as the *second* stage of the creepypasta. On Triple Trouble those notes only start appearing when its Knuckles' turn onward.
