The part on social media hit really hard The privilege of having one’s identity masked allows so many people to spew hate just to feel holier than thou. And those who are afraid of their identity being exposed or sumn simply like these hate content/ comments so that they have the leeway to escape by saying ‘but I didn’t post that’. Encouraging hatred is just as bad- of course I’ve done this rubbish too and that’s why i can attest to all this. Seeing so many creators’ lives just up there (exposed) and the extensive amount of news out there definitely has desensitised us- we don’t see them as actual people with actual lives or actual problems that can’t be 1-upped like you mentioned with the floods at the start. Personally, disabling all my social media accounts and not engaging as often has allowed me to have much more clarity in the way i treat content that is presented to me. But as someone who’s still studying, I definitely feel left out when people around me mention a meme reference/ trend etc. I think it comes down to one’s priorities at the end- I realise the way I talk and think definitely has changed with my social media cleanse, so of course I’d continue on with it. However, for people like you, who create online content, of course a social media cleanse is very hard. It’s seriously commendable that you are talking about such an issue cause discussions are what will help us at least gain some clarity in solving such a societal issue. I wish you the best with dealing with all this- and other creators. If we can’t empathise, we should at least REALISE that the person we see on screen actually exists- we can’t spew whatever we want. It affects people, it affects lives.

Thank you for letting people know this. It sucks the way this social media has been transformed. The seriousness no one understands, a lot of children and teens are using these social medias. And they are seeing these contents. They won't know what is right or wrong if they keep seeing this as parents just see it as 'mobile time' , they don't even know what they learn or not learn. Only adults who watch it for fun can understand that anything implemented in an offensive way can understand that it's just for the sake of likes. Just becz of that ppl think whatever other things they do is not for TRP becz they are not flexing it now. NO! No one understands it. If people just have some stubbornness and think while they are watching how delusional these TV channels are they can literally form a community or come together to stop them from crossing their boundaries. These famous youtubers or famous artists can't do this cuz it will turn against them and their image if no one supports it. But if us common people do that we won't get any hate or damage of image . If we are wrong it will just go into thin air, but what if we are right ? No one will know who started this, it'll just set ablaze and spread and can stop anything from happening. The way they are playing with education like this and all we do is simply watch.
