I honestly wish I could meet you and just talk. It's truly incredible that I find myself a 35 year old man now able to revisit such deep memories in my life through your work. The artistry and time that you put into these works are inspiring. I feel like we've lived similar lives almost. It's interesting to be a part of such a generation. Old enough to have experienced media, technological advancements, and cultural shifts simultaneously but in a slow enough way for it to not just be about chasing followers or influence or any of that. But simply to catch the newest Dragon Ball Z episode with your friends after school or watching WWF Monday Night Raw so you could talk about it the next day at school. Literally just to share and be shared with. I feel like things now have accelerated so much and the soul has been sucked out of so much of our lives due to either Copyright or TOS that everything feels sterile now. No more music with a message to complement a scene. Just royalty free or sponsored soulless misery. All things considered I feel blessed and honored to be in the timeline where such an artist exists. The works that you are creating are more than just music and editing. You are chronicling a large part of our lives and allowing us to remember. These are worlds that we matured through the experiences had through Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, Akira, playing the first generation of Twisted Metal on Playstation. Yes the first of both. These are core memories and feel like a different world entirely. In the movie "Children of Men", the message was that in order to destroy a society, a society must have first forgotten it's history, forgotten its art, forgotten its soul. I think that these things as we experienced them helped build our generation's souls collectively. To expose us to something interesting outside of ourselves and allowed us to play and create and explore as much as we could encouraging us all the while to try something new and crazy. Fucking Discovery Zone?! I know I probably just gave you a seizure from the flashback lol I didn't mean to be so long winded, I just wanted to give my flowers ya know. I think that you are creating works here that will inspire many and allow many others to remember how to be inspired. Peace and Love my friend and I hope that maybe we exist on the timeline where we get to meet one day. Blessings!
